650'000 emails, I would hazard a guess that is a server backup.

Does anyone know how many gb's worth that would be roughly?

Surely that would nearly max out a laptops memory, especially if it was an older model.

These days it is not unusual for a laptop to have a terebyte of capacity. You can get thumb drives that have twice that. Emails as text files contain a lot of "air." That many would fit on a laptop easily.

I can't wait for the next round of Trey Gowdy and Jason Chaffetz to be unleashed upon team-Hillikileaks

Trey Gowdy is freaking awesome!

I would love to see him rip into this corruption...again.

If he's that majestic why'd he only just get a 'warrant to search the e-mails' instead of at least a month ago? anybody?

Again, can you please clarify. Who are you speaking of in regards to "getting a warrant "?

Gowdy or Comey?
I can't really respond until I know exactly what you are talking about.

Never freaking mind... I already know you were talking about. Comey!

I wasn't! Know how I know you were referring to Comey?

Because house reps cannot issue warrants!

Give me a break.

They said that at least 10,000 of the e-mails have state.gov or HRC headers, that`s still a lot of e-mails to read.

of course huma is playing dumb, she says she has no idea what the e-mails are about or how they e-mails got on her husband`s computer.
she covered all the bases in one sentence
it`s not my computer
I didn`t put the e-mails there
I don`t know what`s in the e-mails

the only thing she left out is:
define the word e-mail

Are you speaking of Gowdy or Comey?

What's the difference, he knows what Comey knows, further to that, he actually said speaking to Megyn Kelly, that Comey isn't the only one who knows what's on that computer/Wei...computer?? (with a bit of a stutter) perhaps regretting saying that.

More than that Comey has again been talking to these congress guys.
You people should asking what's going on all around instead of taking sides, sometimes I think nobody wants to know, just vote for yer man or yer woman...say no more, job done.

Of course Comey is not the only one who knows.
There were other agents that brought the find to him.
And the investigation started with the NY Police, so those investigators as well as prosecutor may know.
Did you think that Comey was the only one with access to the laptop? I'm pretty sure he has not even seen the actual device, only the reports from the investigators.

I'm sure that Congress (both sides) have been contacting Comey for information.
I'm also sure that Comey would only reveal what he can legally reveal to them.

How embarrassing if twice the DNC pushed the Clinton's, twice the Dem voters got behind them, and twice the Clinton's got impeached.

And? That's the point, some might say Comey himself is breaking the law by making any disclosure at all, if this investigation is ongoing. Some might say that Comey is preempting a possible leak from his agency, but even if he was, he may still be breaking 'the law'
It's like everybody involved has the Sword of Damocles hanging over their head, with a need to feck about regardless, or they too are doomed, such is the mire.

Comey did not disclose anything other than that the investigation is reopened.
He was obligated to do that.
His last testimony to Congress was that the investigation was closed, so he was legally obligated to inform them that there was a change in status.

If anything else was leaked, it could have come from NY police.
There is no sign that it came from the FBI.

He's not breaking any laws. Nobody ever said he broke any laws. The DOJ does not like what he did but no laws were broken.
