Great. I didn't mean to be abrasive. It's a great book and i don't recommend many.

You know, I like this theory. However, in my opinion, I wouldn't put too much faith into their apparent paracasual time manipulation power. If anything, these beings are a minority, living amongst us, most likely THE ruling elites. Their grips are waning however, most likely the last of their species.
Will ancient draconian principles of a long dying and now extinct race continue to guide humanity? Or will humanity, not at the reigns, evolve?
Great post and thread.

"Alien" would indicate that they aren't subterranean, correct?

Its a popular blanket term. One that I submit is a tad misleading by obvious intention.

As for ancient.. well, thats all relative.

" Is the 'Ancient Alien' hypothesis still a plausible solution for the explanation of OOPA's around the world ? "

Yes , it has always been . The Laws of Probability do not Discount it from happening . As for the Show " Ancient Aliens " , 90 Percent of their Claims of Ancient Alien Visitations in Earth's Past to Explain some Discovered Ooparts around the World could be Explained away by Admitting that Human Genius was more prevalent in the Past than previously Imagined . In other words , our Ancestors were more Advanced at some things than Today's Science give them credit for . The other 10 Percent are Truly Unknown Mysteries waiting to be Solved one day .
Sums up my thoughts perfectly. I also have to add that I believe 100% that our genes were being manipulated long before the masses knew what a gene was. I also find it plausible that our fine planet was intentionally seeded. Hopefully we can do more than speculate with puzzle pieces some day. S&F for the OP. As for the show Ancient Aliens, could've been something real special but they went too far and lost most serious/sane/rational viewers. Touchy subject and always great food for thought. Before disrespecting any sane opinions and beliefs, do keep in mind that all our beliefs are just that, beliefs that require an element of faith.

It may be SOME of the Ancient Alien theories are correct, but not everything the show says aliens are responsible for.

For a while there, the show was cringeworthy, most things were a REAL stretch, trying to connect aliens to pretty much everything. Over the past season or so, it seems the show is getting away from that, and is better for it. It's leaning closer to a Science Channel type show.

A lot of close encounters with aliens seem like carefully staged events.

Star maps are shown, there's talk of Ceti this and Aldebaraan that. Green men big and small are observed taking soil samples before getting startled and skedaddling out of there.

I don't thing we've been visited by aliens from far away. I think they've been "here" all along. Maybe in some parallel dimension, maybe underground. They may be our co-habitants or our handlers. Maybe gardeners that harvest our souls.

Cows most likely have no idea we eat them. There could be creatures feasting on us that we have no knowledge of.

Maybe all these old tales of gnomes, trolls and other mythological creatures are just about particular kinds of "ancient aliens". Maybe various shades of demonic entities - what we would categorize as evil.

For all we know, the entire universe may be a "slide show for our benefit".

That's my view on this - a hunch, nothing I'd call proof of anything.

.... hmmm you more or take the stance like you know it all.. why 10 light years why not 56.3 light years.
Look there is absolutely no space debris in interstellar space.

And there is not a fat statistical chance we have been visited because there are only a few options for practical space travel.

look if I hear you right now you more or less paraphrase the mainstream science ... Well that doesn't know everything there is in the universe... (that's why I brought up the point of nowater/water on mars) they say they do but well science is still learning. Taking into account options that might not even be considered at this time I say there is a FAT chance that we have been visited.

So, how did they get here? Why did they leave? If they were part of our public recorded past, why not be part of our public present. If aliens truly where known and freely interacted with humans, when did it become a government cover-up and conspiracy?

Stephen Hawking is very skeptical if aliens have visited earth.

And it was always believed and hoped there was some form of water on mars.

When has there been total doubt microbial life existed on mars?

And it's still ironic that you would label early scientists hopeful about life and water in our solar system as purposely facilitating a hoax. It seems there optimistic views upon lack of evidence has much in common with your optimism.

I agree. Too many assume if we see objects in the sky, they must be aliens from outer space

The history channel in general is laughable at this point. In the beginning it was all documentaries of actual historical events, and I loved it. Then they started the constant barrage of WWII footage, and the Hitler/ SS worship was unbearable. At that point they started introducing shows like Pawn Stars and other reality type TV.

Keep in mind the occasional peppering in of nostradamus doom porn. And the whole fear campaign of 2012 Mayan end of the world propaganda. The channel is clearly an arm of the CIA/MIC/mockingbird apparatus.

My phone won't let me link .User Campkillcommentary has a good 3 minute video on YouTube "did aliens make Pumapunku". If someone could embed that here for me I would appreciate it.

Only if you try very hard to ignore all the real explanations for what people refer to as "OOPArts," and don't understand that there actually are no OOPArts.

He is a tourism person from the alps. That comes with a certain playboy-ish naivety and excitability. Just because he exaggerates doesn't mean he's purposefully lying.

Except for the several times he's been caught lying and admitted it.

Paid a potter to create a fake "ancient" ceramic piece, featured in his books.

Admitted that he'd never been to the cave with his "metal library," where in his book "Gold of the Gods" he clearly stated he had and described what he found there in great detail.

Admitted he lied about the "rust-free" Iron column in India, which has a rust coating.

There's more, you know.

NO no and no I did not say that scapially was a hoaxer I said he was called a hoaxer by many early mainstream scientists...
I don't label anyone I just stated the fact that science has labeled him a hoaxer....

pfff to honest ... indeed ice and yes indeed water and YES now it's commonly accepted... but I was talking about 1977 when the viking landed... back then is was not generally accepted that there was water on mars or ice... Look I don't want to convince people that scientific view has changed... If people think science is ironclad... well I've no problem with that.

btw.spoiler .. there is live on Europa science always said so 2025 , pffff... i'm getting old

Martian south polar ice cap first reported on in 1666.

Do you actually know anything about the subject?
