There are other lies as well, point being though, whether Russia is implicated by these emails for being involved with the Ukraine civil war or not, still is not evidence of being responsible for the DNC hacks.

Heck, many of us were damn certain Russia was involved anyways after what happened in Georgia in 2008.

Your attempt at deflection is welcome. Bernie Sanders was not "bullied," nor was the system "rigged." The first batch of emails was released at exactly the right time to alienate Sanders' followers. Sanders supporters were young and naive; they did not understand that primary process is theater, not democracy. Whoever leaked the email wants the upcoming generation to be soured on the very idea of liberal democracy. Any suspects spring to mind?

In a functioning party, the central committee plots strategies and the rank and file supports those decisions. That is what the DNC did, and its candidate will win the general election, which means the party will be able to pursue its agenda. The RNC failed to do this. They allowed an insurgency to get a hopeless candidate nominated. This has fractured the party. Although they will lose the election, their core agenda-- free trade and military intervention-- will wind up being implemented because Clinton is essentially a Nixonian Republican.

The techniques used to guide the primaries cannot be used in a general election. It is also impossible to "hack" the polling system, since the voting booths are not connected in any way to the internet. Yet there is a belief that this is somehow possible. Where did this rumor come from, and whose agenda does it serve?

No, but it is evidence that they have a policy of covertly interfering with the political processes of other nations. If they feel justified taking these actions in Ukraine, they would certainly feel justified tking similar actions in the United States.

Correct; everything that has happened in Ukraine, other than the accidental downing of a civilian plane, has served Russia's strategic interests. Either the emails are genuine and Russia has done an expert job covertly meddling in Ukrainian affairs, or the FSB is hopelessly incompetent and Russia has just been unbelievably lucky.
