the simplest solution to a complex problem is often to ask the person in charge.

So...

Has the Black Labyrinth game started? I only ask because the page doesn't seem to have changed in two and a half months. I hate to think that we're running around in mental circles for no reason at all.

So can I get a yea or a nay from a moderator?

and, if not...

...can I get a hint?

What place do games have in the mission of ATS?

Of course the came has started, the start was even annouced. they didn't say 'bl begins..now!" but there was a general announcement that the next game would be starting around such and such time, which is well since past.

This game certainly seems to have locked people up.

Mission? This place doesn't have a 'mission' really. Its a place where people discuss a bunch of stuff. 'Deny Ignorance' is something of a slogan, but we're hardly all here to accomplish something. Games certainly fit in with the site.

That's an interesting facet of a mission, LOL.

Hint: The game exists in the game/time continuum (gametime)

The game has not started.

The game is over.

The game exists at once.

I think the existance of games falls under the primary goal of ATS: member enrichment. Active games keep members interested in a different way than normal postings. they require heavy thinking on the part of the players, which falls squarely under "Deny Ignorance." Games also fall under the second goal, quality of life. Games increase moral as people get genuinely interested in them.
