While Los Angeles police have yet to make an official arrest in connection with the destruction of Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame early Wednesday, L.A. resident James Otis is more than happy to claim responsibility. Otis -- who says he is a nonviolent activist who has been arrested up to 24 times -- released a video to TMZ explaining his actions and acknowledging his guilt for the act of vandalism.

His reasoning is built on a dismissal of the presumption of innocence, which is a fundamental human right:

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Nobody is going to vote for him just because somebody vandalized his star in Hollywood.

You underestimate Trump people. It might make a few push harder and actually show up on voting day. Not that it would be many.

Hollywood doesn't just give people stars on the walk of fame. You have to buy them.
Honorees have to be nominated, and anyone can submit a nomination. But if a star is approved by the chamber's selection committee, whoever did the nominating has to pony up $30,000.

His charity will buy him a new one.

Not a comment to you, but due to the late hour I will not search. One of the most racist statements I have ever heard was this, "Finally we will be united, all races". I swear I can't stand racism and I have often said to others to quit their racist remarks, but never have I been irked as by that statement.
