Good afternoon, Shedizens!

Just thought that I'd stop in and say Helloooo!

I've had a long and listless day... one of those days where you spend most of the day at a loss and you're glad that the day is finally ending so you can just go to sleep and attempt to be more productive on the morrow.

I saw this image earlier and saved it to share with the Shed.

G'Day B,

That sounds to me like.... a Duvet Day!
Make the most of it

When I have days like that I say:
"I think my get up and go has got up and went!!"

************

It's the 1st of December, WINTER is officially here and the closing date for getting your Christmassy images to me is upon us, so if you haven't done it yet.... DO IT QUICK!! LOL

Happy Thursday Everyone.

All right! On the 27th I've noticed a Massive blob of clouds was making its way up to the Great Lakes from the West (Sorry, I could only find a West satellite picture of the cloud formation):

I've rotated the picture above so to fit the map of the whole of NA:

On the 28th, I started concentrating and willed the blob of clouds to be cut in half, hoping to clear a cloudless path right at the middle of the cloud formation. Guess what I see next day, on the 29th?

I'm right at the start of the arrow. The clouds literally parted in half! Awesome!

Unfortunately the next day, the 30th, clouds filled the gap once again, and we still ended up receiving rain.

swanne did you send a storm over the Upper Mississippi valley?

Oops. I might have? It so happens I was trying to part a cloud formation in two on the 28th (see post above), it's possible that the southmost part drifted towards Mississippi.

Sorry!

Don't be sorry! My kids are dying for snow so they can sled on the hills around our new house, and if we get a good dump of snow I can work from home in my PJs. Bring on winter!!

ETA: I'm in the Upper Mississippi Valley, not Mississippi state. I live in central Minnesota.

Swanne in my neck of the woods we need the rain desperately. Our underground reservoirs are dangerously depleted and our lakes are drying out in droves.
So please don't send all the rain off continent.

Kaelci, nice pic!

Gordi, good luck with the writer's contest and thanks for sharing the link with us! My brain is struggling enough just trying to write here and at a writer's site I have been back to with some old friends, so I will leave it for others and read what they come up with.

John, are you some kind of weather wizard or something?

Wis, sure hope you get the rain you need. John, get on that quick!

Shep, hope your kids get the snow they wish for.

A good day to one and all!

Hullooo! My health is improving! Thanks for asking!
I just have this annoying lingering cough that attacks me each morning, and then dissipates until I desire to talk. So I'm generally fine all day until before bed when I talk on the phone for a few hours before sleep and then dun dun dunnn.

It's going though. Yesterday morning was a half-hour morning hack fest. This morning was barely 10 minutes. It's going! It's going!!!! It needs to be gone!

*waves to Gordi*
Greetings, Sir Gordi!
I was JUST thinking about short story contests the other day. So pleased to see one!
I need to get my brain working. I struggle when writing anything not fantasy and magic. Haha. Need to explore outside my little box.

A Magical Magister Christmas feat. Scary Christmas Carols?

*waves to Everyone*
Good morning Shedizens!
It's supposed to reach upwards of 40 degrees today. *shudders in horror*
(That's about .... 104+ for you Fahrenheit peoples)
I'm intending on keeping the curtains closed, the blinds drawn, my house in darkness, and ice cream at the ready!

In the meantime, breakfast is served!!
