If there was really a will to end it now we'd call in Hog Busters.

INTEGRATED WILD PIG CONTROL™

The increase in numbers will happen as long as it's debated democratically.

Bow? Crossbow?
Hogs too smelly for you?

You need to get up close. Fill your nostrils with the smell of feral hog.

The truth here is the dogs do all the work. Humans just carry the kit. Edit to add. Just realised there's no dogs in this video. An anomaly to be sure.

It's said responsible and non-cruel knife hunting is the kindest way. With a good dog the pig just gives up and takes it's fate willingly. Unfortunately hunters often get cruel and impatient about it.

The Forestry Commission stalkers sometimes come across pigs with arrows sticking in them.

Snares cause immense suffering and catch non-target animals. Use responsibly.

Spearing is usually the safest low-budget way to end suffering. But it can have it's drawbacks. See 0:20.

The noise of an arrow flying through the air is 'FFFFF'

And the sound of it hitting flesh is 'UCK'

I started a thread about it here but it got 404'd quicktime.

This story since I began this thread. They're spreading. I suspect rewilders and 'freehunters' are helping them. www.shropshirestar.com...

One resident has claimed boar have been digging up his garden with their snouts.

Shropshire Wildlife Trust said there have already been confirmed sightings of boar in south Shropshire.

If you kill a male boar, you have to gut it and cut out the scent glands around the anus, if you dont they taint the meat in no time. But they are one of the most dangerous animals to hunt as they will attack you and rip you with their tusks.Thats why dogs are used to bail them up, and even then its best to have a stiching kit handy to repair the dog.

True comment, but your video link isn't working. Copy the code after the = sign and paste it into the YouTube box.
