It's like pre-emptively politicizing formerly bi-partisan committees in order to avoid having to call any independent thoughts that might have
previously seen the light of day "politicizing."
Yea, that sounds about right.
Ooooh. And now if any junior members of the formerly independent committees we based our once proud Democracy on complain about having no voice, not
only can they call it "Bush Bashing" but I'm pretty sure it's treason.
However, that being said, the Democrats actually have an opportunity here. If the policies fall flat given thier total control of the House,
Senate, and the White House, then they have something to really build on in the next election.
The concept of "Free rope to all Republicans" is more than appealing, but it assumes the average voter has more than the attention span of a peanut
from election to election.
In 2008, when Jeb or Arnold or Earnest T. Bass or whoever the Republicans run stands up and promises to
finally ban gay marriage, outlaw
abortion, get rid of the IRS, reform welfare, both protect and gut social security, and not nation build while spewing freedom and sweating liberty...
who's going to remember broken promises of past?
Not FoxNews viewers. That's for damn sure.
