We just missed it at Phoenix. It was transporting a satellite shield.

Makes sense. Its parked behind the 129th's hangers which allows a easy offload to Lock/Mart's facility. Could also be going to Space Systems Loral which has an extensive presence in Palo Alto and Mountain View

They left Buckley AFB in Colorado, stopped at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, then went on to Moffet. They were actually carrying the heat shield for Orion.

from my ride today using my Nikon 3100 using a Nikon 55-200 DX lens. Based on where they parked it, there is no real great vantage point. I can get actually quite close, but its obscured by trees
