Made for fun... they where not trying to fool anyone, and I hope nobody would be fooled by this kind of 1gen graphics..

it mentions how it's a promo for a book about a real life abduction.

I believe that a lot of up and coming CGI artists are using aliens and UFO's as subject matter for their portfolios. It makes sense, aliens shows off being able to create humanoid figures in detail. UFO's cover flying objects. 2 pretty big CGI things you see in movies I guess.

Yeah. I see the alien behind the rock you pointed out in that box.
