In Wednesday’s presidential debate, Donald Trump claimed that new videos proved that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama had “hired people” and “paid them $1,500” to “be violent, cause fights, [and] do bad things” at Trump rallies.

He was referring to videos released this week by conservative activist James O’Keefe that purport to show pro-Clinton activists boasting of their efforts to bait Trump supporters into violent acts. The videos offer no evidence that Clinton or Obama were aware of or behind the alleged dirty tricks.

Still, Trump claimed the videos exposed that a violence at a March Chicago rally was a “criminal act” and that it “was now all on tape started by her.”

Trump neglected, however, to mention his own connection to the videos, released by James O’Keefe and his Project Veritas tax-exempt group. According to a list of charitable donations made by Trump‘s controversial foundation (provided to the Washington Post in April by Trump’s campaign), on May 13, 2015, it gave $10,000 to Project Veritas.

Seriously, at this point is Trump a Clinton plant or is he this incompetent? I do believe this O'keefe guy is good friends with the makers of the Planned Parenthood CMP videos. I see a pattern here.

And is Trump paying for these videos via his charity foundation? How the hell does anyone with any integrity support this guy?

Shoot the messenger?

I could care less if the easter bunny funded him.

He isn't responsible for the actions caught on film.

Think Progress????

You mean the equivalent of the Left Wing Alex Jones without a figure head?

Yet another George Soros propaganda attack.

At least AJ has the BallZ to put his name on his opinions, while Soros hides behind his Billions of dollars and his puppets that do his dirty work.

Typical white male! Am I right?

The Veritas videos are a joke.

I said it in the first thread, dodged the second echo chamber and am gonna say it again here....

Project Veritas is a slimeball organisation that uses heavily edited videos, and one little bit of research on James O'Keefe will show the echo chamber that's about to verbally assault you that he is a joke as well.

It's a typical tactic of the Hegelian Dialectic. When you can't deny or contradict the information beyond a reasonable doubt, attempt to discredit the source.

Grasping at straws? It's literally in the documents he submitted to the WaPa! His documents! You can view them here!

Come on Trump supporters, to deny this is truly embracing ignorance. Don't do that.

Seriously, calling me a Clinton shill? First of all, that's literally not allowed but more importantly if you knew me you would know I'm no Clinton shill. Feel free to visit my thread history.

That's cute, parroting the narrative.

But you know better.

You claim those videos were edited, well wow, that didn't stop those people from burying themselves with what little was shown then.

Try this, stop being surprised that both canidates and the people associated with them are morally bankrupt scum bags.

And they are BOTH bad for everyone.

So you have more of a problem with who funded the video than the information contained within?

I think you are the one embracing ignorance my friend.

First of all, unless you're a die hard conservative you wouldn't ever call this guy a journalist. He gives himself the title of citizen journalist so by his standards anyone can be a journalist because they said so. If he's a journalist than so is Alex Jones. Scratch that, I'm confusing O'keefe with the CMP guy.

Second, using monies meant for charities to pay so called journalist monies to provide sting videos for one's presidential campaign just kind of reeks of corruption, to say the least. And too boot, we all understand politics is a dirty game but this is just sloppy man! This looks so bad and to deny that is ignorant. Had the Clinton foundation provided the sting videos about Trump admitting to sexually assaulting women conservatives would be up in arms and demanding to water the tree of liberty.

Trump is either in cahoots or incompetent.

So the next time I see you bitching about the establishment I can ask you why you support it?

If you think journalist still exist in a Corporate bought and paid for media, why in the hell do I see you on ATS complaining about the "Establishment"?

Holy hell, I live in upside down world listening to people bitching about the "establishment" yet following it like lemmings.

Who the hell can make this kind of stuff up?

The movie "Idiocrasy" comes to mind with the hypocrisy I am seeing with those who believe in politics as some do religion!

I understand your feelings on the source because it's exactly how I feel when anyone cites Fox News, Breitbart, The Gateway Pundit, Drudge Report, and even Alex Jones, for their thread. That said, the real source of this is Trump's own campaign. They gave the documents to the WaPa so instead of hating a left wing outlet let's look at the actual content and digest facts, not feelings.

Oh my, why so angry?

I'm all for real investigative journalism and definitely all for exposing corruption but to ignore Trump's own dirty laundry is somehow justified? Why, because Hillary Clinton is bad? Yeah, we all get it but most of us also get Trump is a complete disaster and we're not happy with Clinton (and some of us aren't going to vote for Clinton) but we all get she's better than Trump.

I really don't see what people see in Trump. I literally cannot understand it.
