first of all, he is no god of mine, i just find his work interesting, but i do not worship him! so get over that, and think before you write something.

secondly, i understand why you think so of him and his opinions. he is after all an anti-republican, anti-war supporter, and that is what bothers you about him. he is too liberal and likes to think with his own head alot of time.

thirdly; when you are adressing him supporting the pol pot regime, that killed millions; he later appologized and said he does not agree with his words, that were said infavor of that regime.

and finally, you said he is "an old school" lignuist, that is behind his time. what is the problem here? his age? why? the older he is, more experience he has.

This "maniac" has done more to "poison" the minds of impressionable "children" that any other "idealog" since Karl Marx. The fact that he is continually idolized by a corrupt and ultra liberal media worldwide is proof if that "poisoning"

He supported the slaughter of Millions under Pol Pot, he "wrote" off the horror of 911 as "America had it coming". He is spewing the most vile dogma in world history. He is an "old" school socialist with dead ideas and experiments for humanity.

I personally saw much of the slaughter of humanity in Cambodia. Minimizing that horror is unforgivable and vile in unspeakable terms.

Chomsky has had almost 20 years to cover his BS, but I heard it firsthand and his arrogance and distain for the atrocity is eternally burned into my memory.

I'm not really even sure why you are so angry about it. There are plenty of awful teachers out there, and someone's opinion shouldn't really be taken personally.

In the grand scheme of things, 9-11 was not a huge tragity although it is hard to compare the loss of human life against the same. The only comparison that can be made is in the numbers game.

I don't really think it wise to discount any opinion, even your own, in most cases.

In addition, one could point to Strauss as the same.

Is it so wrong to be socialist though? It is meerly a choice of economic infrastructure that we choose to live under. Thankfully the majority like capitalism (so they say) in this country although we have taken major strides away from it in almost every area.

DrHoracid is just stiring the pot. I've come to realize that. He really has no points, he's just trying to piss you off and invoke debate. It's not hard to tell.

Provacative, this is all I can say in regards to Mr.Chomskey. My Political Sciences Proff recomended ALL his book for us to read. It was good to see Chomskey up to this antics again --someone has to fight got Freedom, liberty, and truth.

Deep

Just what is there left to say about "Noam"? I have made my "points" and as usual you don't understand. You want so point by point discussion of this lunatic? Typical liberal "process" over substance.

There is nothing "deep" or "amazing" about this guy. He is just a dinosaur with no home since the USSR fell. End of story.............

OK,
that is YOUR opinion and your side of the story,
and if others do not agree with you,
stop bashing your head against the wall with statements like "this".
your puny words will not change our minds about this man.
you can insult him and his statements,
and that will only prove your ignorance.

not very "democratic" of you, is it?
