Mr Kushner — an increasingly influential figure in the billionaire’s presidential campaign — contacted Aryeh Bourkoff, the founder and chief executive of LionTree, a boutique investment bank, within the past couple of months, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.
Their conversation was brief and has not progressed since, the people said. Mr Bourkoff and Mr Kushner both declined to comment.
However, the approach suggests Mr Kushner and the Republican candidate himself are thinking about how to capitalise on the populist movement that has sprung up around their campaign in the event of an election defeat to Democrat Hillary Clinton next month. Mr Trump has in recent days ramped up his criticism of the “dishonest and distorted” mainstream media, which he accuses of being biased against him in collusion with the Clinton campaign.
Interesting (and important side note):
In 1967, the then Executive Producer of the The Mike Douglas Show struck up a conversation with show guest Nixon following his appearance. That conversation led to the Executive Producer, Roger Ailes, becoming Richard Nixon's media consultant. Though it would be decades before his dream was fully realized in Fox News, Ailes had been planning it fo r decades:
A memo entitled “A Plan for Putting the GOP on TV News,” buried in the the Nixon library details a plan between Ailes and the White House to bring pro-administration stories to television networks around the country. It reads: “Today television news is watched more often than people read newspapers, than people listen to the radio, than people read or gather any other form of communication. The reason: People are lazy. With television you just sit—watch—listen. The thinking is done for you.”
This puts all the pieces together perfectly. Trump and his inner circle of right-wing media execs know that he's not going to win the election and they're putting together a new alt-right media empire.

A billionaire oligarch named Ted Turner created CNN.
Another billionaire oligarch named Rupert Murdoch created FOX news in response to the rampant media bias of the time.
Another one percenter named All Gore created current tv until he sold it to a fossil fuel state in the middle east.
Who bloody cares if Trump does?
Hell he could call it TNN.
