The regressive left is at least 10 times more likely to riot if they don't "win".

Who comprises the "regressive left" in your opinion?

How are these folks identified?

Oh, and congratulations on your shameless self-promotion.

Sure,

at this point. What do we have to lose? Maybe we can invade a country in a civil war, or elect the next person to be all for it.

yeah, violence.

I swear I hope Trump wins in a landslide victory.

It would be irrefutable evidence exposing the media for the FRAUD it is.

That would be ideal, but what I really think is going to happen is that Trump will win the popular vote, and Hillary will win the electoral.

Then it's very possible things will get... interesting.

Attacking the lies that Trump and Trump supporters condone is not a defense of Hillary Clinton, and NEITHER is the observation that much if not most of the ridiculous assertions against the Clintons in general, while certainly lying in the realm of "conspiracy theories," have any real factual basis.

You are trying too damn hard... take a deep breath.... you already have the media, the establishment, and that includes a bunch of those in the GOP carrying the weight of making sure the globalists win...

Why hyperventilate over those who could give a rat's ass for you... I don't get it...

Despite our differences of opinion, I hope that after this election we can back to debating the issues that concern us...

Protester attacked at Trump Rally 10/14/2016 - CNN

The altercation, just the latest incident of violence against protesters at Trump rallies, came moments after Trump pointed directly at the protester and told him to "get out!" Trump supporters began shouting at the man before one male Trump supporter and then another began shoving the protester, who was holding an American flag upside down. A third man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat and a "Gays for Trump" shirt then forcefully grabbed the protester and began rushing him toward the exit. The protester briefly escaped the man's grasp, but the Trump supporter quickly put the protester in a headlock. As the two men scrapped, a police officer intervened to break up the scuffle and escorted the protester out of the venue.

It's not just violence against "the press" ... the pattern of violence which BEGAN at Trump rallies continues.

You Trump acolytes can keep denying reality, but I want you to remember, in your heart of hearts, that you justified these acts when (and if) it gets out of control.

I'm trying too hard? LOL. Thanks for the ludicrous advice.

The funny (not funny) thing is that you and many other folks here seem to think that the "side" that you're supporting (or not supporting to hear many of those who want to appear to be so "neutral" tell it) is just as implicated, just as involved, just as dirty, just as complacent in the overall move toward global authoritarianism as anyone on the "left."

I am a Constitutional leftist. I believe that the US Constitution is the closest thing we've ever developed, as a species to a perfect form of government, mostly because of the relative checks-and-balances on that government.

You (and others) are speaking out in support of a man who appears to be so totally ignorant of the basis of American government, who has stated many times his intention to enforce his will on us IN DIRECT OPPOSITION to the Constitution, and, by extension, support the very same authoritarian and truly totalitarian beliefs and methodologies you all claim to oppose, particularly here by variously supporting violent attacks on other people and the press.

Why "hyperventilate?" Why spread more vapid hyperbole? Do you (or any Trump supporter) think he gives two hoots in hell about you?

Who's being naive here?

There is zero indication that Trump will win the popular vote. That said, by interesting you mean a repeat of the 2000 election, in which Al Gore won the popular vote by 500,000 or so ... ?

Actually, all "sides" will work toward globalism in this contest. I've described politics before as an elaborate role-playing game, and for the most part, I believe that. Clinton represents the status quo, more center right authoritarianism. Trump represents a rogue destabilizing force to which the globalists would respond with greater control measures.

I have no illusion that either of these represents a real "choice" ... by participating in politics at all, we participate in a long-standing game of "bread and circuses" and "smoke and mirrors" ... and anyone who believes that "their side" is right is really only the most deluded.

I'll take your word that we are in some way "closer than I thought" ... no offense intended with my tone.

Hey, thanks! If you put the kind of work into writing OP's like I do the you'd probably not let them just get buried and forgotten in 2 days, too. Meanwhile, virtually everything I do here is all part of my never ending 'toolkit' build up for situations like these:

Why are you trying so hard to defend violence?

Why are you defending global scale oppression, and the multi-faced war on our population here? The Bush's & Clinton's must be stopped: The Ties That Bind The Bush & Clinton Crime Family's: The CIAs Global Drug & Jihad Empire

Funny how you and ante never chimed in on that one, huh?

How convenient...

See above. That proves the Clinton's don't care about anybody.

So, your description of a vague, emotion-based phrase is to use yourself as an authority?

(As well as giving you another out for self-promotion? LOL)

I've put a lot of work into posts before only to have them derailed and defecated on. Good on you for your marketing skills ... I don't view "shameless self-promotion" as a negative phrase, and I hope you didn't take it that way.

I'm not defending "global scale oppression" ... the fact that you apparently defend and promote a man who was in full public support of both Clintons a little over a year ago ... speaks to a certain level of naivete in my mind.

I am the OP in this case. I don't respond to every thread, and I've avoided your threads in general as we don't usually have productive interaction.

You won't find me stating that the Clintons care about anybody. My only comments about Hillary Clinton is that she is a paramount politician and that is not a compliment coming from me.

There are already laws against individuals attacking others.

Free expression and words are not attacks.

Unless the press desires to become a protected class.

If you defend Clinton that is what you are doing.

Stopping the Bush's & Clinton's should be the paramount task on everybody's priority list every single election.

Especially anybody who has ever taken a hardliner position against either or. Anything less is total hypocrisy.

The press is something of a protected class; see Amendment I.

And yes, words can be seen as an attack, as has been well-established for centuries in American and English law.

See also "fighting words."

The press is protected from the government, the people are not the government, so the 1st is not necessary here.

And now I can see that the real raison d'etre for all of this is to argue for the press being a protected class from any criticism.

I haven't defended Clinton. I have attacked rampant lies. I have tried to defend the truth, although that concept is a fading one I know. If you think that anything you are doing, or I am doing, will make one whit of difference to the power behind the "Bushes and the Clintons" you are indeed more than a bit naive. You're not going to defeat that system by arguing for one "side" of it.

The only way out is to realize the difference between facts and beliefs.
