Why do you think you are being manipulated? Trump is a gift that keeps on giving. Why do you blame the MSM for this?

On ATS a member I won't name or link to the ATS thread concerned for T & C reasons posted an OP stating that the alleged rape victim of Trump had the same phone number of the Clinton foundation. Actually looking at the screengrab attached showed quite clearly the two numbers were nothing like each other. The OP stated that it was 'their bad' and should have checked first - but the thing is, posters on here hardly ever do - and yet for some reason 'alternative media' is somehow more trustworthy in your opinion?

That kind of rubbish gets posted multiple times daily, much more so in the election silly season, but you give people on here and other internet forums more credence because of what? Because they are posting the kind of rubbish you want to believe in?

The problem isn't the media focus on these topics that i have a problem with. The problem I have is how did no one find this Trump stuff in the GOP primary? Why were none of the news agencies and his opponents vetting him at all before the nomination? The GOP/media have been vetting Clinton for 30 years but they cant spend a bit of time researching trump until now?

CNN has become a tabloid. You know it's bad when they completely ignored a hurricane to talk about pussy for 48 straight hours.

But there are still a few media outlets out there that aren't completely co-opted, and even revolting against the narrative.

One thing people keep overlooking is that a Trump presidency would still hand the entire federal executive branch over to the Republican Party. All of those coveted alphabet agencies would once again get Republican leaders, and all of those federal appointees would be selected by a Republican as well. So even if Republicans openly said they hated Trump, they still stood to benefit from his presidency. This is also why many of the Republican politicians that have spoken against him still haven't rescinded their endorsements of him.

As for why the media and new agencies hadn't said anything before, that's the point of the "October Surprise" tactic. It's supposed to be a devastating emotional attack that sways voters at the last minute. For all we know, they could have devastating info on Gary Johnson, Jill Stein, Evan McMullin, and/or Alyson Kennedy (the Socialist Workers Party candidate). But what good would it do to release it now when neither of them is a real threat?

Not to mention, some people could always hold onto that kind of info in exchange for favors, money, or who knows what else. This is politics we're talking about.

at this point, i wouldnt call it "bias" any more.

I read something a few weeks ago that Lady Rothschild came out against Trump. If she is against someone, I am for them. As for the MSM, pretty much anyone with any sense at all knows they are totally biased. Hillary isnt showing her face until the next debate, she knows they will do her dirty work. The fix is in.

Is that what it's called when a video surfaces of a guy saying awful things followed by over ten women accusing him of doing nothing more than the exact things he said? Fix...that word, I do not think it means what you think that it means.

Never before in my entire history of ATS have I so quickly lost ALL respect for so many members on this site.

Those scandals have all been covered ad naseum. The public has been inundated with so many stories about her that her being corrupt is the new normal. It was a bad marketing strategy by the GOP. The stories on Trump are new ergo are being heavily covered, which was a good strategy by the Dems, for better or worse, and even if underhanded. You all being up in arms acting like Trump is a victim, which he constantly has a victim mentality, only serves to make you look worse.

LOL yea like the media is normally neutral. The press biting back is proof of vested interest at work. The fact that the press pounds themes, sound bites over and over again, example lacks temperament, demonstrates vested interest being protected and NOT the american citizens from nuke attack.

Trump, whatever the story, for months now has been the opening story on the big network shows and sometimes Trump is 5 deep! with negative adds and they even use Hillary do edit dub ins which amount to a sort of commentary.
