Please show the quote were he states he's sexually assaulting women.

“I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” Bush echoes.

“Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything,” Trump says.

Read that first piece carefully. He just starts kissing them, he does not wait, he can do anything. He does not wait for consent he just acts. That is the very definition of Sexual Assault.

Yep, definitely a disgraceful comment. Not quite as low as him referring to a married woman with the term dog breeders use for a female dog, or johns use as slang for hookers; and saying he was trying to tempt her into committing adultery. No mention of intimidation or lack of consent though. It's even more disgraceful to fill in those details, and attribute the added details to him as if he stated them explicitly. He has recently denied that that is an accurate interpretation of his words (if I understand what he said towards the beginning of the second debate correctly). The tape's bad enough, no need to add to it. There are also facts about him that are beyond dispute that one may object to.

Sure there is mention of no consent. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. When you do not wait when is there an opportunity for consent. That is just common sense. Grab them by the pussy is not intimidation? PLEASE

He also said "and when you're a star, they let you do it", as you quoted. I don't like this line of discussion, so I won't go into much detail; but I'm not a virgin, and I personally have engaged in a monogamous form of the behavior he described there (I'm not a fan of adultery, and would never attempt that). What I did was completely consensual, and the woman was an equal participant. From personal experience, I know it is possible for a man to behave this way in the heat of passion, and to do so with a woman's consent. I can also tell you from personal experience, that women will sometimes treat men that way as well (usually with their eager consent).

I have no inclination to defend Trumps real world behavior, let alone his fantasy world behavior; But I do feel a need to defend truth and objectivity. What ever he did or didn't do, and whatever dirty thoughts he may or may not have had; this quote is not being presented by the mainstream media with the degree of objectivity and professionalism it should receive.

"could be" yes, that's speculation though. Stating it as fact is far from objective.

Last time I checked, America was NOT a Democracy. It is a Republic, and always has been.

I have to disagree.

Republic is the theory.

In practice we are most certainly a 'democracy'.

Where the mob opinions makes 'right'.

Democracy has weapons of mass distraction.

Tools created to divide and conquer.

The most vile.

The most despicable of them.

Racist.

Rapist.

Among many others.

America has perfected 'democracy'.

Bill not trump..

I don't doubt he has date raped countless subordinates, but I think most of his accusers are lying.

When trump said your quote. He challemged every feminist AND sexual assalt/harassment victim to stop him from being elected. While saying it was ok to falsely accuse people by bringing Broderick.

Evidently you have no idea what either of these words mean.

Democracy - rule by the people with a true popular vote (the people not the government vote on everything from laws to who leaders are)

Republic - representative government of the people (the people elect certain people to represent them and what they want to happen) in this system the elected representatives make laws and choose leaders on the people's behalf (yes that means that the people Do Not elect the President)

No, what you are talking about is Anarchy (which technically is not a form of government but rather a lack thereof).

See my post above for what a Democracy and what a Republic are. They are two separate forms of government and should not be mistaken. Please try to deny ignorance by learning what these things are prior to referencing them.

Negative, oligarchies are what you typically get when there is a coup (often by the military), and exists until a more stable form of government (usually a dictatorship) is put into place. But at least you got the definition correct (kudos).

Is the USA a democracy or a republic?

i was going to point this out, the U.S. is a democratic republic.
in the fact as a nation our senators and representatives write and vote for bills that either passes or fails.then if it passes then the president signs or vetos. with very little input from the citizens.

on a state level it pretty much the same, except on the state level, there are some laws or propositions that the citizens get to vote for. that doesn't happen on the national level.

if the U.S. was a direct democracy, like the fathers (the Athenians) of democracy were, every law would be legislated by a assembly of citizens and voted on by the entire citizenship, and the government would be a bunch of bureaucrats that are appointed by the citizens.

We finally have someone with a sense of history and knowledge on forms of government.

Yes, America is a democratic Republic.

It is democratic with a small 'd' which means the type of Republic with a capital 'r' which is the form of government. Yes, lately people have been pushing to change it to more of a socialist Republic, but major changes to the Constitution (called amendments) would have to be passed for that to happen.

Good question . . . off the top of my head, I would say the Basques (but they never had their own nation), the Vatican (ruled by Pope, but then you have the college of cardinals), you know . . . come to think of it, without some deep research I am not sure we could come up with any national government east, west, or whatever that has not been an Oligarchy at some point. And yes, that includes Sparta.
