Officials say US missiles destroy radar sites on Yemen coast

Currently at work so can't add to much of my own thoughts. With everything going on in Syria yemen might stretch us thin. If we were to go full throttle. Yemen rebels I should add.

Got bullied out of Syria.
Just trying somewhere new.

Well actually on Wednesdaythey were fired on by rebels twice. So they took out the radar sites.

W're only there because of the UAE.
You know 9/11 and ISIS?
Screw the middle east and their radar sites. No reason to be there with Saudis boat.

International waters are fair game. Firing on a non hostile vessel is going to give you a bad day.

This thread has nothing to do with our allies, or who we protect. It's about a hostile force lobbing missiles at a United States Navy ship, and in return getting those same sites blown up. We didn't declare war on Yemen rebels, we didn't deploy any troops. We took care of the problem.

If you don't recall aussies ship was blown up by these same missiles. This was a non armed cargo ship. It had to be done.

Wasn't an Aussie ship from what I recall.
Haven't we done bombing runs in Yemen.
Don't need boots on the ground to be at war. You know proxy wars and terror campaigns and all that.

Fyi Saudis are a hostile threat too. Or do you not recall all the threats they made after we passed a bill making it ok to sue that had congress scrambling. Or you consider that an ally?

Leased from what I recall. Either was was a harmless cargo ship sunk in International waters. As far as I know no bombing runs have been carried out by us in Yemen.

Thats a nice one. 97 civies and 25 were kids.

Nailed them a grand total of 10 fighters. So totally worth it right?

Those are similar civilian-militant death rates from American Drone strikes, and during the occupation of Iraq.

I doubt the US would care. The People certainly should though.

Huh? Nearly all arms that almost every country has are bought from other countries. What they choose to do with them after they left our hands is on them.

That would be like dicks sporting goods selling an ar-15 to someone that goes on a killing spree. Oh no don't blame the guy blame the seller. I've never understood that logic. But to each their own I suppise.

Selling to a known terrorist state is different than selling to someone that you don't know what they'll do with it. Dont strawman.

Big difference between plausible deniability and yeah we knew what they would do with that.
