In the scenario of "choosing the lesser of two evils" voting for either candidate is a vote for "evil". Whether Trump or Hillary are literally evil I am not to judge but I do know neither is a good candidate to be president.

See my signature, Martin Luther King fought for evil then?

Women's suffrage movement for decades all for nothing?

Have you ever researched the other evil presidents?

For instance, the First Clinton Presidency comes to mind.

this story seems so stupid to me on so many levels...
first is the "infiltrating" of the catholic church....
that isn't that hard to do people, you just go up to the door, open it up, and walk in!! heck, a seven year old can do it. I know, because we did it at that age!! had some nice talks with the priests even. they are more than welcoming to anyone who wishes to enter... god, the infiltrating sounds like they need a group of navy seals or something to just get inside!!

Google "Change Agent" and "Aspen Institute"
Infiltrating takes time, and seven year old's dont quite cut it.

then there's the idea that the dems need to do this to plant seeds in the church... where have they been, those seeds planted themselves some time ago, have rooted, grown and we can see some fruit being produced! all on their own, no outside influence was really needed. just time...

Ah, that it indeed true, exactly how it is done. Just look at Tim Kaine.

The Jennifer Palmieri story does not have the significance that the John Podesta email story about his starting "Catholic" organisations (with George Soros' money) to foment "revolution" in the Catholic Church. It is this Podesta story that has the real impact on daily mass-going Catholics. My estimate is that about 3/4 of the weekly mass-going Catholics will be very, very irritated by this story and it could push them to a Trump vote especially if they have lost jobs in manufacturing or the energy sector. The sort of self-identified Catholic who never attends mass has been in the Clinton's pocket from the start. But even some of them may be rattled a bit by discussion of this topic.

Some see this as insignificant, but the Catholic vote in general is essential for Clinton to win.

Thanks for you input, I was not aware they were separate
emails, but thought they were part of a chain.

In any case, I would agree the "Catholic Spring" and the infiltration
is more egregious, yet not sure that part made it to the mainstream?

I could be wrong, would be awesome if it did. I thought this was
significant because the one group has over 500,000 members.

Personally, it is all very suspect, I find their words hateful think it
is reprehensible people would infiltrate a church. But I have seen
that firsthand, so I know it happens.

The reference to SC is likely scientology, more specifically, people grabbed back from scientology like Murdoch's son.
The e-mail seems to be saying that though no longer scientologists, some of the ideas of scientology are coming into the Catholic faith in the rich upper echelons of the faith, through these people.
What the girl was saying in reply was that in effect, these rich groups have nothing to do with ordinary Catholics with faith.

Do you know what she said and can you tell me what was wrong with it? People can't have private email conversations about their own religion without the Russians hacking it and giving the emails to Assange for Trump and Putin to use?

Awesome. Let's definitely get behind that.

Where are all these folks always going on about "1984" on this one?

Doesn't matter at all where the mails came from in the first place.... only matters what is written in them.

If a boy steals a candy bar in the store and isn't discovered... is he still a good boy? If he is discovered by someone and that someone reports him, is that someone a bad person?

Stop deflecting... the issues are the things discussed in the mails, not the messenger.

The Clinton campaign has not returned a request for comment, but Democratic officials have sought to cast doubt on the authenticity of the hacked emails by arguing they were obtained by Russian intelligence.

Instead of answering why she was incapable of keeping her email server secure, just deflect blame onto the Russians for hacking it.

Good, hopefully they find Trumps ties to Russia and arrest him.

If they had those 'ties' he would have been arrested. He's not the Clintons, secure in the imperial fold.

Funny how The FBI is investigating, Russia did it and the emails are fake.

What a messy bunch this is.

Funny how they are still investigating yet point the finger at Russia anyway. Thats libel. They could care less, ten thousand warheads are targeting Moscow, whats a little slander?

To be a dem, you have to disavow God, right?

Didn't they decide that at the 2012 convention?

"All in favor of no god, say aye!"

"The Aye's have it!"

They should excommunicate Palmeri after she quits.

denying even happend, but let Crimea be invaded...no biggie.

War mongers, all for money and power.

Yeah, where's the proof the Russians are behind all these hacks.

But it doesn't matter, does it.

As long as people and media are talking about Trump's alleged sexcapades and NOT Hillary and her crooked camp.

And where are the hillary threads? It's all Trump and yeah, I know I'm free to start a thread on her if I want.

Breaking news: Podesta is beholden to a Putin
connected energy company, 75,000 shares.

I look for the details, probably will post a thread on it.
