What's so bad is the lack of the MSM following this.

Only the Alt media seems to care. The MSM has become totally a tabloid dumbed down institution

The MSM itself is operated by people who are anything but dumbed down, though. They report what they're told to report, but they think there's a prize for them at the bottom of the box, too, just like everyone else who is willfully complicit in this convoluted charade...and that list likely has far more names on it than we can even fathom. Nothing this elaborate happens without a great many hands to help it along the way to fruition.

It doesn't help matters that certain well known names in the alt media are consistently muddying the waters with bull# too, and by proxy, helping the MSM to appear even more believable to the gullible public. Alex Jones springs to mind as a very recent example. So when things are reported by alt media that people actually should pay attention to, it is often largely dismissed as just more conspiracy theory or doom porn or fear mongering by those who prefer to think they still somehow control their own destiny.

This site is a very good example of the result of all of this. Here we've got a topic that is a legitimate concern, that people probably need to start thinking about in a serious manner, and it's got what, a dozen flags? Yet all of the ridiculous, redundant tabloid fodder threads, endlessly yammering about anything and everything but actual real, serious national issues glean hundreds of flags. It's nothing short of pathological.

I stopped trying to get through to people for a long while. It would be a more productive use of my time and energy to just walk to the nearest intersection and present my argument to a stop sign.

Lately, however, I have been speaking out again. My words will probably still fall largely upon deaf ears, but that's OK. It's good to know that there are others who share my sentiments on the subject. That is increasingly rare these days.

You have an ally in me. Eventually, others will start seeking the truth. Until then, we are it's advocates.

The power this country thinks it has, the more ballsy they will get with their ambitions. If you look around, the globe isn't fond of us. To a large majority of nations we are referred to as the United States of terrorists.

Our government in the 60s wasn't even slightly as tyrannical as it is now. The civilians weren't nearly apathetic and lethargic in the 60s. We stood up for injustice then, we made our national voice be heard. For years afterwards, our voices were systematically pinched down to a slight whisper. Now, if you dare to even think of speaking, you are on 14 different terrorist lists and discredited as a conspiracy nut.

You lived through the Era of cold war... Tell me, were the people anywhere near as bad as they were then? (legitimate question)

People don't change

Probably not. But leaders do change. And some are more mad than others. Its just that there have not been one on the top since ww2. Every now and then a mad man will claim the throne and Call the shots. That part of history will also repeat it self.

When i look at how Our society is being groomed and pampered 24/7 by Our media and politicians to hate Putin/Russia. I know that something is up....

IF this is a set up and a US geo-political game... the US are playing With very high stakes. They are playing With all of Our lives. What if Russia dont Call the bluff and fold?

What if we push this geopolitical game to far? And Russia retaliate, or just attack in self defence? They know that MAD is a reality. But will it matter when one must act in self defence?

These statements have been fully denied by Russia as simply scare tactics to further demonise Vlad,

The claim of a looming exodus of Russians was initially published by znak.com, a news website based in Yekaterinburg in the Urals. It cited five unanimous officials, who said they had been “unofficially recommended” by the Kremlin to bring home their relatives living abroad. Students studying in foreign universities should ask for transfer to Russian universities to continue their education, the report said. Elderly relatives would have to spend their retirement in Russia rather than in the West, it added. The punishment for not following the alleged recommendation would be a stall in career. When asked about the report, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was the first time he had heard about the alleged pull-out of officials’ family members.

RT claims that the Daily Star and Daily Mail Tabloids were the first Western Media to jump onto the Scare wagon.

It also seems that Snopes.com denies it is a prelude to war:

The Daily Mail cited the Russian-language news web site Znak, which posted a piece entitled "Home!" Translated from Russian, the piece said that Putin's administration had issued an informal request, not an order, that Russian officials and their family members who are living abroad return home. The piece discussed not a pending military conflict, but a public perception problem stemming from Russian elites' sending their children to be educated at expensive Western schools while their homeland is in the midst of challenging the West and jockeying with the U.S. for global power. It does not seem to be a red flag that World War III is imminent.

It's Russia simply manipulating the US election.

They make all these grand gestures (they are always dramatic) and it leads us to speculate on the horrors of what is happening.

Pretty crafty, if you ask me.

But your boy Trump is a huge Russia and Putin supporter.....he also made comments about advocating for them hacking Hillary's information which is also advocating a breach of national security......

So thats ok with you though right? Even though we know Russia is trying to manipulate the elections?

They are doing because it looks very bad that they demonizing the West at the same all the leaders, elites and rich of Russia are sending their kids to school in the West. It looks very bad to have the same people telling you to be patriotic and that the West is the cause of all you ills send their kids to school in the West.

Well, this is what happens when we have a Liberal PC pansy in office with zero nuts to stand up to anyone or call them by their actual name.

People don't like it when I say this, but I'm saying it:

We can blame the current POTUS for this until we turn blue in the face, but the harsh reality is that we as a nation have been complacent and apathetic for a very long time now. If we had not, this outcome may not have become such a looming threat. We got here in large part by denying any responsibility for our own country and how it is governed, and by doing so, gave our power away.

Yes, he is at fault. They all are. But so is every other American, to some degree. And now we're impossibly divided, in so many different ways. We allowed that, too. And a divided nation is a weak nation. We reap what we sow.

I thought the cold war was a time of paranoia, non existent threats under your bed and a creeping menace.... is it in the American mindset for those thoughts to never go away?

The crazy notion that we can bluff them into submission is well, crazy. That is what the chess master is hoping though. We will have all our set pieces in place surrounding their country so that retaliation becomes impossible. But like I said before somewhere, there are wild cards, Boomer submarines, mobile launchers, missiles hidden in places we would never find them, until they launch.

Thats the guarantee of MAD. This conundrum makes the motion of wining an all out exchange, the tactics of guaranteeing a win, maddening to the planners. There is no sure formula, that why the MAD label. Because its mad to think of it.

Each side has thousands of warheads, poised, pointed down each others throat.

L5. All the Warheads in the U.S. Nuclear Arsenal. This field of ceramic nose cones represents, in miniature, all the warheads in the U.S. nuclear arsenal by the end of the Cold War. Estimates set that total at 25,000. We see in this picture the vertical proliferation of nuclear weapons within the arsenal of a single superpower. We stand on the threshold of a horizontal proliferation of nuclear weapons worldwide as plutonium becomes more available. Many warheads have been dismantled in the US and Russia, but the long-term disposition of the plutonium extracted from the warheads has not yet been determined. Plutonium has a half-life of 24 000 years. There is no practical way to destroy it once it has been created. “Amber Waves of Grain” installation by Barbara Donachy, Boston Science Museum, Massachusetts. 13 February 1985.

The source for the OP was The Daily Mail, about as mainstream as you can get.

Only the Alt media seems to care. The MSM has become totally a tabloid dumbed down institution.

The Alt media love this kind of story because it can be twisted to monger fear. Russia makes a move that seems odd to westerners, so it must be a preamble to war.

The mainstream media have professional Russia watchers on their staff. There is nothing odd or surprising about the current regime wanting to pull back on its diaspora. Young people studying abroad will be exposed to dangerous ideas like freedom of expression and representative government. They may choose not to return or, worse still, bring those ideas back with them. It also looks like a poor reflection on Russian institutions if oligarchs prefer to have their children educated in the West.

You can anticipate that there will be an official edict that oligarchs must sell their real estate outside of the Russian sphere of influence. Owning land in North America and western Europe reflects poorly on Russian economic prospects. This won't happen until after Trump loses the election, however, for obvious reasons.

Wait how is hacking hillarys emails a breach on national security?? You do realize she's not a member of thr government don't you?? She has no position and no national security informaton. Well unless you believe the wiki leaks info. Than she is still in contact with the state department that is. On my view point of you have a server in a guys bathroom you probably should get hacked for stupidity reasons alone. I'm assuming she's secured her server by now I mean really DNC got hacked twice. Let's assume she's smarter than them.

As far as the Russia thing this isn't a true story though there are plenty that are. They flat out said voting for Hillary could lead to world War 3. And with the stuff she has said about Russia could be right.

Hillary has threatened the Christian nation of Russia with military action after directly blaming them for all the cyber-hacks that has occurred derailing her presidential bid, and wants to "blow Russian planes out of the sky" in Syria.. Putin probably knows that she has a terminal illness and/or maybe she is just batsh!t crazy, with nothing to lose, and is expecting her to win and with that presidential win, a war with Russia and Iraq, as well as escalation in Syria. Put yourself in Putin's shoes - wouldn't you pull all your citizens home in anticipation of a war on November 9??

Maybe but he is not doing that. Only suggesting people stop sending their kids to school in the West because it looks bad. If Russia thought a war was coming they would be cutting their defense budget

Nobody in Russia wants war. We know what it is, unlike the USA.
