Bacon Wrapped Grilled Cheese

Well, I know we have some bacon fanatics on ATS, as a cheese fanatic myself, I came across this recipe today that looks amazing! I haven't made it myself, but it is definitely on my to do list along with a good tomato basil soup.

Why interrupt good bacon with a sammich?

I never understood tomato soup myself, but if you make me a nice butternut squash soup ... maybe with an apple thrown in for some sweet/tart flavor, I'm sold.

I am not a fan of tomato soup myself. BUT, OMG is it awesome to dip a grilled cheese sandwich in!

Whoa! Thanks for sharing! Love that video, easy to follow. Unbelievable sandwich I never knew existed! Mrdesert would like it just as presented. I think I will make mine more to my liking.... hey, gotta find some redeeming health value in that thing!..... uncured bacon and salami, fresh mozzarella, extra sharp cheddar, organic whole wheat bread. Yes, serve with tomato basil soup. So good, so good.....

I must admit, that looks absolutely totes amazables.

Edit - The soundtrack sounds like something out of a 70's adult film.

The only problem was the lack of bacon instead of the bread/cheese etc....the more bacon the more epic it becomes....but try and use some real bacon, that stuffs used over here in the UK as like tin foil when cooking a chicken/turkey

I made this last night. Just be aware that even after 10 min per side, the bacon layer underneath will be raw. I kept it on until it was as done as it could be. Turned out pretty good. I used 6 slices total per sandwich instead of 12.
