You really need to look at the figures before you can even think about Scotland beating England in a fight.

The British armed forces has about 150,000 active personal.

Scotland has about 15,000 people in the British armed forces.

That would mean a fight of about 15,000 against 135,000.

It is mad how stereotypical some of hem are.

I know, but I've been here (Scotland) for the past 8 years and never met ANYONE who has the views like the extremist Scots on here or any other website.

It's almost like watching the religious extremists.

You must have been at the Glenfiddich too long if that's the best response you can come up with.

£6.40 per hour?..try living off that.

Its about twice what I earn

(I am self employed)

I can safely say 99.9% of Brexit voters voted out because they are bigoted rascist zealots.

I can safeIy say you are a bigoted racist zealot coming up with rubbish like that! Most of us like and welcome immigrants.

What we dont like is being forced to oin a club against our will and then being expected to comply with the rules that that club - that we were never ever asked if we wanted to join - impose on us. Even if in many cases we tend to agree with them. Its a matter of primciple.

At least the Scots were asked if they wanted to join a political union with England

I'd like to correct him on the first part of the post you're replying to.

Current min wage is £7.20 for over 25, £6.95 for 21-24, £5.55 for 18-20, £3.00 for under 18 and £3.40 for an apprentice.

The closest the adult min wage got to £6.40 was in 2013 when it was £6.31 for over 25 or 2014 when it was £6.50 for over 25.

I have no idea where he pulled his numbers from.

2014 when Scotland WERE ASKED and there was a VOTE to decide if they wanted to be a part of the UK or not.

You know? That whole referendum thing.

I could use the stereotype to say the Scots were too drunk in 2014 to know what they were actually voting on, but I won't.

We (Britain) managed without the EU for about 250,000 years. I'm sure we'll carry on managing for a long time to come.

Oh. You want to play semantics?

In that case, sometime prior to the acts of the union in 1706 (Union with Scotland Act) and 1707 (Union with England Act).

Of course Scotland was originally forced to join with England to form Britain - and has been part of Britain ever since.

But this was around 420,000,000 years ago ....

And I dont see any chance of Scotland not being part of Britain for many hundreds of millions of years to come
