The leap

Logic ties you in to its limitations
Rules bind you to the road
Computers train you to compute
Eventually that may be all you can do.
Is that the way you want to go?
A human robotic system of precision,
for whom & for what?
We have been perfected, to react
in the standard way.
All of this can happen,
but if you realize
You can really give it all up.
Competition lays a million miles away.
Freedom is you and bondage
is cast aside.
Those mind games you held so dear,
are just faded memories.
Those fears, those worries
leave you like a teardrop
rolling down upon your smile.
Your laughter burst out
like a lion returning to the jungle.
Or a child, happy and playful,
in the rumble of now.
Enjoy the sandcastles
even as they tumble.

When ground below has long since passed,
When Earth and sky are gone.
We'll soar upon the solar wind,

Phage is not a jerk.

He contributes a lot to the checks and balances in these forums.

Should we pretend
That this is nothing more than
A coincidence again
Should I brush it aside
And not analyse
All the things that become obvious in hindsight
Should we pretend
This hasn't happened again
And just hope for a happy ending
Should I ignore the fact
That this is all an act
