Fox News is reporting that late night TV host Johnny Carson has died.

Johnny Carson was a Late Night television show host in the U.S.

If it's true, that sucks.

Carson was the host of the Tonight Show before the bozo that is on there now..

"May your pants be infested with the fleas of 40 Arabian camels". Seriously, this is sad news as anyone over 25 pretty much remebers, when growing up, fighting to stay awake to watch Johnny. We lost a truly great comedian.

Did anyone see when FOX announced his death? Brian Wilson came on with a FOX news alert. The way he set it up was as if someone really important died. When he announced it was Carson, I literally breathed a sigh of relief. No disrespect at all to Carson, or his fans, but he was almost 80 years old and lived a great life.

How sad! Here is the cause of death. It seems he had some heart problems in 1999, too.

Comedian Johnny Carson, the king of U.S. late-night television as host of NBC's 'The Tonight Show' for nearly 30 years, died on January 23, 2005 at age 79 after a long battle with emphysema. Carson hosted NBC's night-time 'The Tonight Show' for nearly 30 years. He did his final show on May 22, 1992.

So many of the Stars are taking the final bow these days. Is lucille Ball still with us, or did I miss that too, like john candy and Rodney dangerfeild?

The first time I saw the "Tonight Show" I was about 12 years old on vacation with my parent. We usually camped, but since it was raining, my dad splurged and got us a room at the Motel 6. I remember watching it and laughing my a-- off.

That year I got a TV for christmas. I was to be in bed at 10 pm everynight. I would turn the tv on, plug in my earphones and watch the opening monologue every night. Then, just as fast as I got into it, he retired. But I watched every show that last year, and knew that I was watching something really special.

When I heard the news yesterday, I paused, said a little prayer for him and thanked him for giving me the sense of humor that I have now. He was a brilliant mind and will be sorely missed. Now more than ever..
