I can't think of anybody better suited to help the economy than Bill Clinton. What she said was true. When he left office we were in the Black as a country, recovering from Saint Reaganomics.

Funny humidor joke though.

So in other words, you think a sexual predator would be good for the economy? Hypocritical much?

Bill Clinton is not a sexual predator. He has cheated on his marriage, no question about that. But "predator" in the way you imply it? No. Besides, I'm sure both his and Trump's testosterone levels have dropped to crap by now. They would both likely need Viagra.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows the difference between a "sexual being" and a "predator".

Annee, Trump and Clinton are both womanizers and that is the long and the short of it. Those people have chronic zipper malfunctions. I should know. I married one once upon a time.

I was not happy with this comment last night, and can take the moral higher ground when I say that my friends and I in our 50s haven't spoken like that about ladies since we were pimply kids in high school exaggerating our conquests. Even then, it was a lite version of this, and never about sexually assaulting a girl, groping them without invitation.

The man was in his 60s when he said it, I could understand if he was very young and immature speaking that way about women (well a lighter version where he doesn't admit to sexual abuse), not when he is a man of age and experience. It was disturbing imagining my father speaking that way at that age when his wife was at home pregnant.

I slept on it, and I am now angry when I reflect on what a rich celebrity has done to our conservative movement. The squalor of politics has been made worse for seeing the actual real life immorality of a man when being private citizen. His character and demeanor is not what I want in our commander and chief.

Pence, who is a conservative christian, I would hope is having a serious discussion with his wife and children on whether he wants to be seen with this level of cretin. If he does, I would say I question his declarations of faith. But then he may just be proof that power corrupts, and he can't walk from it.

RIP conservatism.

I'm so relieved to know that popular vote does not elect POTUS

But I actually want Clinton the leader of women and SJW's, to win so everyone can see what a disaster the country will turn out

I appreciate where you are coming from. Very 'grounded' thoughts. Not too much of that around anymore.

Although I'm not a republican, I don't give up on the GOP. It's like they say about alcoholics, sometimes they must hit rock bottom to realize they must completely change, or they are going to lose everything, and then likely die.

After this undeniable fiasco, they will find a way to rebound. After the election, they will begin to put themselves back together again. I hope they do.

As if his character is more important than the substance of his policies and vision for America, people in America are so ###kn stupid.

Mam, I could never vote for Clinton or Trump. it's amazing how simple, participation in a popular vote gets humans so emotional they cease to think rationally

It looks as if Donald Trump just won the 50 Shades vote. They have a sequel next year, 50 Shades Darker. But the film only grossed $166 million, so how many voters is that, that like that sort of sexist alpha male bravado? 10? 20 million?

Trump was a Democrat at the time so his language was perfectly acceptable...

BS, this type of language is never acceptable...

You have let your ideology get in the way of your common sense!

However Trump supporters do show a lot about their character and honor by supporting this sleazy type of discourse. I'm sad to say that I can no longer respect many members that I once felt a closeness to even though we disagreed politically. Trumps politics of division has worked perfectly.

He's never been a democrat or a republican. A liberal or conservative. He stands for nothing. Nothing but his own enrichment.

Exactly!

He's switched parties a few times.

He becomes whatever is beneficial to him.

I think the proof in the pudding about this "Trump was a democrat when he said it" schtick, is that no self respecting Democrat would have nominated him for President based on his ramblings.

Republicans did.

Dems 1 - 0 Reps

I am still at a complete loss that anyone supports this man.

I honestly don't get it.

Have they just created an imaginary vision they want to see?

Well, think about it. If Pence is thinking more along the lines of 2020 and the RNC wants Trump gone but Trump refuses, this is one way to be the golden boy by taking one for the team. It forces Trump's hand by decimating the ticket and salvages the GOP reputation (such as it is) by walking away from the deplorable - because they know they are going to lose anyway. Why not cut their losses?

It's happening.

Pence and his Talibangelicals are no less a threat to our nation and need to keep their theocracy dreams in the church of ill repute.
