I see...so when Trump wins they can blame the Russians. Then Trump does not want to attack the Russians so he looks like one who is in it. The fix is in....internal Clinton polling must be a bitch right now.

Yep, you nailed it. Can anyone else smell the stench of desperation in the air?

Russia would prefer a President Trump who won't continue the criminally aggressive policies of the current administration. Hillary is openly hostile to Russia. I wouldn't and don't want her either.

If the current administration and the possible future Hillary administration has nothing to hide, then why do they care?

That is not the issue, is it? The objective is not to put a specific candidate in office, it is to undermine the population's faith in liberal democracy. We can already see people in Europe and the United States justifying authoritarianism.

That doesnt matter. If speaking truth undermines the faith - then so it should be. If you need to lie and hide truth in order not to undermine the faith - then you have problems.

Who said anything about lying? Sometimes a partial truth can do more damage than an outright lie.

Truth?

In most circumstances truth is a good thing.

However, is it always a good thing, or even the right thing? Especially if it destroys lives in the process, innocent lives.

Humm.. If the only way to avoid authoritarianism is to lie then I am not sure humans deserve freedom.... Just FYI but "liberal" anything is communism/authoritarianism. It is the only way it can work....

I would think Russia would rather Hillary in there cause we would be weaker and less war money and friends. Trump is for strong borders and bigger military budget if he wins we are stronger and harder for Russia to fight. Also if Russia wants Hillary to lose they would just sit back and watch everyone else bring her down like they probably have been doing.

Maybe Russia has a different opinion of Hillary (and Trump) than you do.

There's an odd irony to that statement...

Same as, if Citizen Joe has nothing to hide, why do they care that the government has the ability to read their emails and listen to their phone calls...

Is it irony or people butt hurt they can't break the law whenever they want?

using obamas line of thinking we can say that the police are interfering with a criminals carreer and livihood by arresting them and exposing evidence of their crimes.
It`s never wrong or criminal to expose corruption.

If this "Liberal Democracy" really turned into an Oligarchy though, that causes harm around the globe, then maybe undermining it is the very least that it deserves.

If it the United States has caused this much harm when its leadership can be changed by the will of the people, imagine how much suffering it could inflict on the world if it was being run by a narcissistic demagogue who would launch genocidal wars against people who thought he was "rude."

This seems to be the new standard for politics in the U.S.
I heard this pathetic argument from both sides of your diverse political landscape. "Look, the other candidate is even worse than ours!" Unbelievable. Elections should be about the best possible candidate... not the "less bad" one.
