Howdy village fellows! The time of Ragnarok for the soul, might be but just a generation ahead! Would you join the armies of singularity or die battling them?

If today a chief from the next village comes and offers you immortality will you take it?

I say NO! Go home with your pity immortality before I draw my steel!

Buy nay! They shall return again and burn out village to the ground.

Will you join me on this day, will you pledge your soul to the gods of moral men, or you'll run behind their castle wall, clothing yourself in submission? Do you wish to drink the cup of eternal life, or you would better stay by my right side, with proudly risen blade!? Are you mortal addict, or rat without a skin, my dear friend!?

Yes I would take it , I want to see if mankind will reach its potential and how this story ends.

Will you join me on this day, will you pledge your soul to the gods of moral men, or you'll run behind their castle wall, clothing yourself in submission?

No , my soul is my own and will be pledged to no person or God.

If you choose to be afraid of change, that's your own affair.

But trying to sucker others into your own misguided superstitious fear based beliefs is not moral act.

The wife and I have pre-chosen mortality.

My son can't wait. He wants bionic limbs now.

Weird.

Love it lol. My wife and I are on the fence - she would prefer to just stay young, whereas I really want some cyber-parts. As for eternal life, I'd opt for a 500-year renewable subscription. I mean, what if Bieber and that Miley Montana become the only legal music for the next 5,000 years? I can't commit to that forever.

That mindset gets clearer and clearer with age. Immortality just looks like a trap to me.

OTOH, I really enjoyed the concept of the movie Transcendence.

I'd imagine we've got 10 or so years left in us. Living longer, just to live, has zero appeal.

Pal are you a Viking?

As much as Viking can exist in 21st century, a pagan is more exact word.

To the other guys: No, there is no entertainment input here, just plain reason and honor not wishing to get buried under the piles of BS of the "New World"

A bit sad to see that some friends here take my talk for rambling, missing the fact that humanity is on very dangerous line. I speak in metaphors and poetry, yet the things behind are very real and hurt like broken beer bottle. The is no turning back since the majority of humans are in the brainwash club...

If you look it realistically, the last possible action for the ones who give no crap about the church of science is to fight for glory, if not victory. If you know what Ragnarok is about, you'll get the point. Is about standing a position, in everybody's unique way - this is where the real battle takes place.

Once before America was free, and the ones there defended it with honor, against the hordes of the white Empire. Thus with honor we remember them!

How you are going to be remembered? The ones who bow their heads, the ones who accept everything, without spending single thought beforehand, or the ones who can drink the sea's depth, solely by themselves if they wished to... Whom?
