The theory of evolution is a material-based model of origins. Creationism is a Spirit-based model of origins.

Did spirit create matter or did matter create spirit?

In my experience, certain phenomenon cannot be explained by a material-based model. Matter is 99%+ empty space, mass is super dense energy (E=mc^2), etc; the copenhagen interpretation of quantum physics tells us that it is the measurement itself by the conscious observer that causes waveform collapse into material substance. So if matter itself is subject to measurement from the conscious observer (us), how could matter have created the conscious observer?

I gave up the material-based model because it was hindering my holistic understanding of the world - especially the aspects of spirit and consciousness.
