A formal complaint against Cheryl Mills has been filed with the
District of Columbia Bar, citing Mills connections with Secretary
Clinton during the FBI investigation into Clinton's email scandal.

"The District of Columbia's Rules of Professional Conduct strictly prohibit a lawyer from accepting employment in connection with a matter the lawyer 'participated personally and substantially as a public officer or employee.' This is an 'absolute disqualification' that 'carries forward a policy of avoiding both actual impropriety and the appearance of impropriety.'"

"During the time Secretary Clinton allegedly mishandled classified information, Ms. Mills was serving as Secretary Clinton's chief of staff and counselor at the State Department. Bryan Pagliano, a former State Department employee and Clinton campaign staffer, told federal investigators that, in 2009 or 2010, he approached Ms. Mills relaying State Department concerns that Secretary Clinton's private email server might pose a federal records retention issue."

I am In full agreement with this analysis by Michael Krauss, who
teaches legal ethics at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George
Mason University in Virginia.

“There may be a conflict between Mrs. Clinton’s interest and the interests of the United States of America,” he said.
bol.bna.com...

And that sums it up in total, she is disqualified to represent the interests
of The United States, as well as her top aids and lawyers.

Nice try but it will change nothing. Even if they disbarred her nothing will change. Bill Clinton was disbarred and nothing changed. Sad but true. We are doomed. a reply to: burntheships

While the real scandals involving Clinton keep piling on and on and on, the MSM is busy contriving fake scandals about Trumps taxes from 20 years ago.

Clinton won't even be affected by this. She won't be held accountable for her actions, and if Cheryl goes down it will be a non-issue for Hillary and her (already guaranteed) seat in the Oval Office.

How funny to watch Hillary throw her under the bus if she was disbarred. Then she had better start watching her 6. a reply to: FamCore

Here's what this could mean and the impact....

They could revoke her status as a "Lawyer" retroactively.

Then many of the "privileged" conversations with Hillary and anybody else would no longer be protected.

Remember Mills was acting as "counsel" for Clinton on more than one level.

Figuratively or literally throw Mills under a bus to prevent her from talking?

What has changed, The Democrat Party has been fully exposed
to be comprised of fraud and deceit, supporting criminal activities
of crony capitalists, thanks in part to hackers, and some in the GOP,
mostly the House Oversight Committee.

Its not over till its over.
Throwing in a smile here, just in case we have to embrace the doom.

Maybe, maybe not. and some Republicans vow they will impeach her if she
makes it past the elections, if it comes to that.

Adding a smile here too

Good question, maybe someone is looking into it.
I did see a letter today from The House Oversight Committee,
asking Loretta Lynch if there indeed was a Grand Jury
convened to investigate Hillary Clinton.

I need to find that again, dang!

She is also on the Clinton Foundation Board....
I wonder is she acting as counsel for them also?

That could be explosive, great insight Xue!

You know something?

If the Republicans really wanted to do something,,, all they had to do was impeach her for activities while Secretary of State.... an post impeachment would have kept her from seeking another office.

There is more than enough evidence to warrant an impeachment as Secretary of State.

Did the legal minds ever decide if impeachment of a person no longer in office is allowed? Impeachment is to remove someone from there position. its kind of a moot point when they no longer hold the position.

I would agree, what held them back?

I recall a few veiled messages that came from Speaker Ryan,
really makes me wonder. I'd wager a guess there are more
than a few rats in the Republican camp.

Thinking a bit more on this....
there were more than a few Democrats who
participated in the stalling of the release of emails,
whom worked at The State Department. More than
a few who were partisan on the House Committee.

Its a bit hard for those who seek a transparent government
to carry integrity when the tide of corrupt politicians
flows against them.

According to the 90 minute above posted by Judicial Watch, a person can be impeached, even if they have left office. The impeachment does little except the impeached person would be ineligible to hold public office.
