The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is emphasizing some alarming things about State election systems getting cyber-attacked and hacked.

Apparently the FBI is investigating some and the DHS is saying they can help.

What if this is widespread and somehow hijacks or alters some election results?

Is this even possible or is it just another election campaign trick?

Wary of Election Hacks, U.S. Urges States to Get Security Help

‘Malicious cyber-actors’ have recently scanned state systems

So far, 21 states have contacted the FBI for assistance

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is urging state and local election officials to seek assistance from the federal government to fend off cyberattacks that could be used to manipulate the results of the November presidential elections.

The agency is ready to provide any assistance to help states secure their systems, if they request it, Jeh Johnson, the secretary of homeland security, said in a statement Saturday. Threats are rising that criminals will use cyberattacks to try to disrupt the administration of U.S. elections, the agency said.

Oooh, the plot thickens. Forget the fix is already in, the results predetermined. I bet the Ministry of Truth is concerned, about Joe Blow figuring that out.

Sounds like a psyop. Did they invent the other headline, 'Russia hacks DNC', too?

Something smells very, very bad with all of this. DHS is an agency under Obama's control and direction, and it is clear that DHS has marching orders to take control of the federal elections away from the individual States. I have read some response from various individual State authorities who have the US Constitution firmly in hand and shaking with barely concealed outrage at the notion of federal or DHS control of elections in each State. It simply reads like a plan from Team Obama to do what they can to take control under the guise of the usual "Be Afraid. Be. Very. Afraid."

Clinton called for the U.S. to “lead the world in setting the rules in cyberspace.”

“If America doesn’t, others will,” she said.

Isn't DHS the same org that can barely handle a glorified ticket line at our nations airport?

Saw something about this on the news. "We" are afraid Russia will hack the election

Really? Russia? So we need DHS and everybody else all over this?

I guess so. Never mind it could much more easily be someone here vastly more concerned about the outcome. The two party's themselves for example. Past that, the the pack of likely suspects thins dramatically.
