Women spend billions of dollars on foods, drugs, articles, equipment, circulation inhibiting jeans and underwear... just to try and become or stay, SLIM. For different reasons than Trump, they too, criticize other women who put on "extra" pounds.

Men do this too today hours in the gym, running, including cutting and suctioning.

Completely off topic, ghostrager.

We are not discussing whether it should be legal to write contracts for beauty pageants.

Women who participate in them, are probably not worried about being at the front lines of women's rights.

Yeah... I know... that's shocking news.

I find it amusing that any lack of character or class(you can't buy that) that is pointed out about Trump is met with attacking the object of the issue and then blame Hillary for good measure.

He could have just fired her, for breach of contract. That he gave her the opportunity to get back in compliance at all, seems generous to me. It isn't like she added half her previous body mass over the weekend. And I have no doubt it came up in discussion, long before she got that heavy.

It sounds like having her work out with trainers in front of people was an attempt to make some good come of it. And it isn't like that very concept wasn't the exact basis for the very successful reality show about that same exact thing....The Biggest Loser.

All that aside though, pretty much standard stuff for the media. Anything to distract attention from Hillary's debate performance, in which she directly called him a racist, and failed to clarify anything about her actual plans, if elected. I had to run the playback several times during the debate, because she was making statements that were meaningless....essentially, just word salad.

I personally call the debate, a draw. I doubt anyone's mind was changed. I did note that the Donald got 5 or six audience reactions for his zingers, and she two, I think. The optics were also kind of interesting, with her in a bright red republican colored suit, and he with a bright blue democrat colored tie. It also seemed to me, that there was some monkey business with the sound engineering.

Sexism is socially appropriate when its misandry.

The man who was a junkie and got clean for his kids = a loser trying to get a second chance
The woman who was a junkie and got clean for her kids = a hero who is fighting a battle

I've been told i am a good dad. im not. I am an average dad in a world of low expectations. Its a soft and subtle form of sexism. And it benefits no one.

What interested me is the outrage by people in the media over Trump's fat shaming. People are screaming about Trumps sexism and how appalling this is. You can't talk about women like this. How dare someone criticize a womans weight?

Except that was her job. She had a weight clause in her contract. Trump told her to lose weight because he was running a beauty pageant, and she was contractually obligated to stay a within a certain weight.

Why is this not allowed.

Requiring her to meet a weight clause in a contract is allowed. Gratuitously abusing her in a juvenile and degrading fashion (as Trump did) is not.

YAAAAASSS!!

Greatest thread in awhile.
I've often thought about making a thread about real equality and how women would still have a problem with it. REAL equality that is.

And don't even bother trying to change their minds using LOGIC, they're far too irrational.

She did not mind the check and the travel at the time though did she? It is only misogyny when it fits. She Miss Piggied her butt right to the bank...

Like people constantly defending Rosie O'Donnell. She is a disgusting pig. Even her own child ran away to live in a heroin den to get away but hey Mr Trump do not say anything bad.

Oh give me a break. America is known for being an obese country that over-eats. Anyone who eats themselves into being fat, is their fault. Maybe shaming fat folks will get them to see the error in their ways and shape up.

yes Equal pay for equal work (except for the USMC, of course)

en.wikipedia.org...

"The PFT ensures that Marines are keeping physically fit and in a state of physical readiness. It consists of pull-ups, crunches and a 3-mile run for males. For females it consists of flexed arm hang, crunches and a 3-mile run."

so nice that equal pay is ok even if the requirements are easier for your sex.

(the USMC is the only service that has different requirements for men and women)

and for the Obesity epidemic in America, it's easy, sell your car. ( for you tobacco haters, I have a question for you, which is better for you standing next to a smoker in a closed garage for and hour or a running car in a closed garage for an hour)

and as far a being the ass in charge..

I worked for an ass, he rode us hard at work always making us keep busy, then his health started failing, so we got a new boss, he is a really nice guy, the place is closing in a Month and I will be out of work because now we can't get the work done on time and at quality. How "nice" .

edit to add: I owned a car the 4 years I was in the Marines, it remained at home, and I sold it when I got out, 40 years later I am STILL the same weight I was in the USMC, and have lots more money not having an automobile.

No he did not tell her "she was contractually obligated to stay a within a certain weight"...He instead opted to attack a woman about her weight in front of other people by calling her "Miss Piggy"...

One is someone explain to you your contractual obligations...

The other is someone acting like an ass and shaming a woman in public about her weight.

Next up explain to me where in her contract it said she could not be Hispanic? "Mrs. Housekeeper"?

Does that include Trump?

He actually had to lie and trim an inch of his height to avoid being "Clinically Obese"

Did Trump Add An Inch To Avoid Being Technically Obese?

Trump didn't call her a criminal...he called her "Miss Piggy"...

How does that help Trump?

For about the fifth time, can you please provide me with the audio of him saying this?

Oh wait, it is just this womans word vs his? This same woman who is accused of threatening to kill a judge?

And even if he did say this, that somehow proves he hates women. So anyone who has ever made an innapropriate comment to a woman about her looks hates women.

And all of the people that make means jokes about Trumps looks hate men?

And since we are taking peoples words for things, we can take peoples word for things they have heard Hillary say. Like the entire book written by her secret service agent showing all sorts of horrible things Hillary has said?

HOW WOULD YOU DEFEND U.S. AGAINST CYBER ATTACKS? Look at the mess that we’re in. Look at the mess that we’re in. As far as the cyber, I agree to parts of what Secretary Clinton said, we should be better than anybody else, and perhaps we’re not. I don’t know if we know it was Russia who broke into the DNC. She’s saying Russia, Russia, Russia. Maybe it was. It could also be China, it could be someone sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds. You don't know who broke into DNC, but what did we learn? We learn that Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of by your people. By Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Look what happened to her. But Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of. Now, whether that was Russia, whether that was China, whether it was another country, we don't know, because the truth is, under President Obama, we've lost control of things that we used to have control over. We came in with an internet, we came up with the internet. And I think Secretary Clinton and myself would agree very much, when you look at what ISIS is doing with the internet, they're beating us at our own game. ISIS. So we have to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is a, it is a huge problem.

I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable. But I will say, we are not doing the job we should be doing, but that's true throughout our whole governmental society. We have so many things that we have to do better, Lester and certainly cyber is one of them.

Tweeker speak....?

No. Beauty pageant speak.
