Who introduced the patriot act again?

Who turned it inwards, targeting American citizens and their activities isolated to within America's borders?

Am I correct in understanding that you think this is the first time that policy is dictated to spy on Americans in the United States? This may have been the first time it was so transparent that it was happening but unlikely that it was the first. The red scare and McCarthy witch hunts come to mind for some reason.

The President is a temporary figurehead. People think he/she has authority/security clearances enough to release sensitive/ secret/UFO info and other things. They in general do not.

There are security clearances way higher than the temporary president will ever get to. He/she doesnt had a "need to know".

The country runs 24-7 365 days a years and rolls right into the next presidents term. The country runs non-stop WITHOUT and in SPITE of the president. It has to.

So in reality...the country always runs without stopping...no matter who does or doesnt get in. It HAS to! Its those people who really run continuously while we bicker about who will be the leader.

The Bush administration, my point wasn't to demonize Obama over Bush, it was that they pushed the same agenda.

Obama also increased the scope of surveillance.

My point is I do not like either. I don't like either candidate now is any better. So if we trend it out, what happens if one day it's so bad they abuse the powers that made the patriot act to go after "terrorism" (NSA has not thwarted an attack with mass surveillance) and they use the patriot act to get someone who challenges the administration.

Say I am Grasping at straws when I'm non partisan, pro America, a free America.

But I know history, I can see precursors.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I am convicted in what I believe, facts. Forgive me for not blindly riding the train of the indoctrinated.

It was the first time man, women, and child American citizen was subjected to naked body scanners and molestation just to exercise their right of free travel. We went from "after the act" AKA "Warrantless" wiretapping of selected lines to wholesale mass data collection and computerized surveilance of all phone calls. Obama expanded on demand accessability to business records by the CIA. Obama passed the Lone Wolf provision, allowing the Patriot Act to be used against individuals with no connections to any terrorist organizations or crime syndicates. FISA Assassination and crime fighting via drone. Nobody has a more startling track record of prosecuting and persecuting whistle blowers than Obama does. The Goddamned US Treasury now publishes their own Terrorist Watch List which, if you have even a similar name as someone on said list, good luck conducting any business in the US until the ridiculously long oversight process has exonnerated you. Expansion of so-called "free speech zone" usage... because hey, only a Constitutional scholar could possibly recognize that the First Amendment requires specially designated areas to be exercised. Obama's IRS directly targeted conservative donors and groups for retaliatory audits. Criminalization of journalism in the name of national security...

Barack Obama makes Joe McCarthy look like a flippin' saint.

Unfortunately our words fall on deaf ears. People have been indoctrinated to believe questioning our country is unpatriotic.

I am of the train of thought democracy is only as good as the civic duty each citizen practices. People watch the news and act like that's confessing the sin of not being up to date, as if the media is at all unbiased.

Hopefully people wake up.

According to reality, leftists are authoritarian dictatorships.

Look at what has actually happened.

Under socialist systems, authoritarian governments dictated as much of human economic and social activity as possible.

The funny thing is, under these systems, there always turns out to be an elitist class, one who's authority cannot be questioned or opposed.

A claim is nothing, compared to 200 years of historical evidence.

According to author Barry Clark, "Leftists [...] claim that human development flourishes when individuals engage in cooperative, mutually respectful relations that can thrive only when excessive differences in status, power, and wealth are eliminated."

Let's break down this claim, it may help understanding.

Individuals engage in 'cooperative, mutually respectful relations'.

How is this achieved, without force of government? Without an elitist class, that dictates human activity; and punishes those who just want to be left alone?

The only way for this supposed 'cooperation', is through coercion. The only way for respectful relations, is through the destruction of sovereignty, culture, and race; in order to promote homogeneity.

As for the second part of your statement, again how are 'excessive differences in status, power, and wealth' eliminated?

You would need an excess of status, power, and wealth; in order to eliminate. Then, the new excess of status, power, and wealth would simply keep it. There are some historical examples you may want to brush up on, such as Lenin and Mao.

So your citing them killing a operative for that worked for the enemy as an assassination? He was an enemy soldier links to be an active combatatent or bot. His actions and propaganda directly propagated al qaidas ability to radicalized new recruits.

Learn your history.

Al qaeda has its' roots in the Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim Brotherhood has its' roots in the OSS. After WW2, the US began supporting Arab fascists to counterbalance the Arab communists.

Flash forward to today.

ISIS.

Here is the truth.

The Obama administration is racist, wants to segregate Iraq based on ethnicity, and is financing/arming ISIS to achieve that goal.

In 2007, the Bush administration financed a Sunni army[ISIS] — the Awakening — and Galbraith says this is responsible for the success so far in Iraq. Biden would take this to the next step and encourage the Sunnis to form their own region[Islamic Caliphate]

Ah see now you are speaking more of my language, the only thing you are not yet talking about are the freely elected puppet masters, the people that allow the president to enact whatever crazy hair brained scheme he or she wants.

It's hardly a free election when Supreme Court decided money is an expression of free speech lifting caps for individuals on the amount they can donate to a candidate. As if that's not enough corporations were deemed individuals. So the Flood gates open.

Most Americans only get current events from "the media", many a handful or less, usually curtailing to their beliefs. We all see the bias. Now most MSM are not independently run, but owned by a corporation. Conflict of interest?

On top of that lobbyists outnumber congressmen almost 10 to 1.

We have the illusion of democracy but a core oligarchy.

As we sit here and bixker and go back and forth, the message of my post it seems has fallen on mostly deaf ears. While I do fear Trump and HRC. This has turned into a partisan debate left vs right reps vs dems. Misinfo vs disinfo and the like...

The truth is it doesn't matter who wins the same people will be in power the same people will be voting on what is and isn't against the law. Until we all wake up and realize this we are doomed to repeat the cycle over and over again.

This nation was built for the people by the people....its time we all pull the collective wool from In front of our eyes and place the blame where it really lies.

Those members of the house and congress that are perpetually there, the ones that pull the strings and sit in there office and laugh are the enemy to a free republic. They have the money they have the power and we have given them the means. Now all they have to do is sit back and tell you who to hate and it works by god it works.

Thanks..its SOOOOOO simple to understand...and many just dont get this.

In High School, we elect a Student Council President. He goes thru his four years, leaves and off to parts unknown.

The SCHOOL doesnt go down with one elected leaving as a senior...it has to run unabated...even without the new election for Council President having yet taken place...

That is one way to put and I will add on.

The reason it continues to move forward and doesn't miss a beat is the "class president" never had any real power at all. He was a figure head, a rallying point for the masses. While the real powers direct policy.
