This means also around the islands they usually land (like Malta, Lampedusa etc.). Before 2020 there will be 250 million climate refugees on drift in Africa, before 2050 even 600 million.

OK many will find a place elsewhere in Africa, in the Savannah, but a lot with enough money to pay the people smugglers and who believe the stories of these smugglers, will come to Europe. This could be tens to hundred million people by 2050. Europe can't handle so many extra idle people on welfare, they would live in shanty towns.

African migrant workers in agriculture in Italy say: I had it better in Africa, more food more money and better housing than these shanty towns. These migrant workers are taken advantage of, have far less pay than minimal wages for born Italians. International politics must manage that these climate refugees stay in Africa, there is enough space, enough fertile soil in the Savannah.

We in Europe must build fences to keep them out, to destroy the business model of the people smugglers.

Any chance of a source so we can fully understand what you are talking about?..

And as for,

"Europe can't handle so many extra idle people on welfare, they would live in shanty towns."

That is already happening in many parts of Europe, have you seen sections of Belgium and the UK..

I live in Florida and I think that it's way too hot.

Does this mean I am automatically entitled to citizenship in some EU country?

No.

Climate refugees? Who comes up with this #?

In your tittle you place "Climate" in parenthesis, in the opening sentence without. Are you expecting us to buy this idea in stages. The flood of refugees is a direct result of the climate alright. A heavy rain of bombs, bullets and shrapnel.

A heavy rain of bombs, a flood of bullets and a tornado of shrapnel, I little bit sharpened your wit

Millions of Syrian refugees are in camps in Turkey, EU is afraid that Turkey opens the dam, send them all over seas to EU, they would still live in camps, EU pays now Turkey so that they keep them there, they would get stuck in main land Greece or on the Greek islands, Greek economy is now far worse than before, local Greek population ready to revolt

Do you have a cousin in USA named Trump? Sorry
Putting a fence around UE wouldn't be cheap and wouldn't work anyway.
If you don't want immigrants in your country you should contact your government, but they may not care, seems governments don't really care what their people want they have their own agenda, and you can bet it won't be in your best interest. They will probably just bring in more fine upstanding people who want to blow up things and shoot as many as they can, maybe the governments would like 70 virgins too.

Climate Refugees. Is this the same as Obama's GW caused terrorists ? Seems to be.
But it is , as a previous member posted , due to a climate of weapons used against them. By their own governments. In which most countries of the world and the UN , refuse to remove these dirt bags from the earth. In some cases , even aid them. Thats the problem.

It stopped them on the Balkan, now they stay in Greece, cannot go to the promised land, the holy land, Germany. Fences on critical places only and restoring internal borders and controls in whole of EU will work

Latest news: Refugees from Chechnya also coming in by the hundreds in Poland, will end up that the whole Caucasian will want to come

You are referring to the Syrian refugees, well the must stay in Jordain, Lebanon, Turkey, but the big problem as I see it are the tens to hundreds million African climate refugees which are already coming and this will increase exponentially if we don't take measures

Is it really because of climate or because of a population who thinks pumping out child out after child is a good idea? Not helping it is environmentalist who want to turn that whole continent into a National Park. A lot of of those large mammals need to be killed in order for farmland come up from the savannah and not be trampled or eaten.

Oh , the same ones that have lived in the heat for possibly millions of years ? Or is it fleeing from the same type of terrorism ? Could it possibly be that they heard about the migration from the Middle East and decided it was "easy pickings" ?
Probably not climate change . News flash - it is hot in Africa. And has been.

Its the farmland in the Sahel region Sahara is increasing, farmland is shrinking rapidly, because lack rainfall, other desert areas are also increasing same story, climate refugees = climate CHANGE refugees = GLOBAL WARMING refugees = GREENHOUSE EFFECT refugees = ANTROPOGENIC CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS refugees

They wanna turn the world into one gigantic SLOOR!!!

Enough kidding, indeed there is beside climate change also overpopulation in Africa, people that come now also are from local overpopulation, no home, no work, no food, no future. If there was farmland enough, not taken by the desert and climate change they would have a future etc.

I know. The ones doing the regime changing never ever thought it would drag on this long. They thought they would get their no fly zones like in Libya, bomb and 'rebel' their way to regime changing Assad the way they did Qaddafi. That was their first mistake. The Russians and Chinese have repeatedly vetoed such action in the UN security Council because of what happened in Libya. Can't get fooled again.

Insurgencies by themselves can't hope to defeat an army like Syrias, so we got endless war, the worst of times.
