Mate leave it. It's not a balloon. Honestly the more you press this the more you're coming across as admitting you were wrong. It appears you have lost sight of the debate which was what it could be.

He won't. On page 7 he said he wouldn't reply to this thread anymore, but he's still here trying to convince us it's a hot air balloon.

If its a plasma like some Hessdalen phenomena, and that fits the evidence then it kinda has been solved.

When that solution also explains one or two (?) other videos of almost thr exact same nature that are considered unsolved... then this is likely the answer.

You wouldn't have 11 pages of droll without non-bleebers to poke at. Hows your 'investigation' going?

Its a balloon. No, its a UFHAB (Unidentified Flying Hot Air Balloon).

No wait, its aliens pretending to be a hot air balloon. No-no wait, its some bored cops having flir fun with y'all. NOnO wait, this is ATS, dragged down by lurker bleebers who seize on any bit of YouTube hoax to claim proof of aleeens just coz, its aleeens.

meh

May I ask how you 'know' anything more than anyone else does?
I don't particularly give a toss either way but just feel it is appropriate to point out that all you have is opinion which is no more verifiable than any other in this thread.

It's an Unidentified Flying Object, which contrary to popular belief, doesn't automatically mean it's "aleeens."

As I've said before, I have no idea what is on that film. But I do know it's not a hot air balloon, in the same way that I know it's not the flying serpent of the Aztecs and it's not a cruise missile.

What you're doing is called 'fishmongering'.

It's a phenomenon pointed out by good old Charles Fort. He recounts an instance in which huge numbers of sea-creatures were found scattered over a wide area, amounting to several tons of fish and periwinkles.

Since the idea of 'fish falls' (a well-known inexplicable phenomenon) was too outrageous to contemplate, the explanation that was provided by sceptics was that a fishmonger had gone mad and secretly roamed the neighbourhood at night, throwing vast numbers of fish in all directions.

Mystery solved, obviously...

Anyone who would like the full details, can read the relevant except from Fort's work here: baronvonhoopla.wordpress.com...

How can you know 'its not' if you 'have no idea'?

Here we go again, investigation is a process of elimination. I'm sure you proved its 'not' a hot air balloon pages ago. Could you link that post for me? I'd love to read it.

There lurkers, that ought to be good for a page or two of nuh-uhhh and deflection.

The helicopter pilot also has no idea, but he knows it's not a balloon. Do you think he's never seen hot air balloons before? Seems like you do.

Again we dont know its:
size,
speed,
distance
what the objects actual wind conditions are and whether it was actually travelling into the wind or not.

We dont know the objects temperature to see if its hot or just emitting a little bit more heat than the surrounding air.

So how can people be so certain of what it is.

Why not a mylar balloon? It could be a alien vehicle. Military. Or just something mundane. I agree its probably notba hot air balloon but why not something else unexciting.

It's almost certainly something unexciting, but it's certainly not a hot air balloon.
