Those are the actual podiums? Damn. Its all an illusion.

I just hope they make it on time.

Frail Hillary delays Trump on way to debate.

This gif was over the ATS size limit.

Hillary will stand on something to make her look taller. Maybe a little mechanical lift. She'll be able to make herself taller and more menacing as the debate unfolds.

SEE THE WIRES inside of Hillary's podium? Those are for the lift and also the earpiece receiver/transmitter connections.

But, I am pretty sure it is going to be extremely anticlimactic.

So here we will see the two 'would be leaders' discussing their potential mandates on education, healthcare, poverty, infrastructure?

Or will it be TV for the dumbed masses?

If you look at the two front runners for POTUS, there is no reason to ask which it will be.

Get to your bunkers people, Trump is going to be dropping bombs!

I actually bought popcorn just for the event, the primary debates we're something but this is the big show now and it's going to be great!

Is it true that there will be NO commercial breaks during the 90 minutes?

I thought I saw a news article about that being part of the debate rules as well.

Yep it looks like it according to this?

www.zerohedge.com...

"There are no commercial breaks," a commission source explains. "Period."

Debate moderator Lester Holt does not have the authority to cut away from the stage during the epic 90-minute showdown.

And microphone audio for either of the candidates is not to be manipulated.

That's what I heard too.

And no breaks for coughing or bathrooms.

Thanks for the confirmation! This will be the longest Hillary has stood (without assistance) in months..maybe years.

RE: www.conservativeoutfitters.com...

I can't wait to see what our forum members think that additional wiring you see hanging out the back of Hillary's podium is for. Imagination runs wild with the possibilities.

There are 6 fifteen minute segments. So is that considered a break for the candidates to go to bathroom or sit? What else would they be doing during those segment breaks if there are no commercials.

I had to blow it up and zoom in some.

I take it Trumps is the tall one on the right? Will they place Hillary's shorter podium on that box so they appear 'equal'?

I would love a cam placed behind during the debate. Well, maybe not.

Defo the latter ! I won't believe there will be a debate until it begins.

Wow she is in bad shape - no wonder Bill is not attracted to her.

I think Trump's podium is shorter because in person he is taller.

For Hillary's podium they added that segment in the middle to raise it, combined with her standing on that box.

The end game, I assume, is to make them appear somewhat at an equal elevation yet maintain a relativity to their actual height.

I would speculate that is not a ' break ' necessarily but maybe moving on to another topic/ issue . Just guessing , though.

Maybe Trump will dive into the audience and tackle Mark Cuban.

Could be, but won't that look odd with the podiums being different heights? I would think they would want the tops of the podiums to be the same height and then give Hillary a boost so she appears as high above the podium as Trump.

Spatial relations is not my forte, so I am just thinking out loud.

Last I heard Hillary was not allowed a stool but she will have a 'special' podium to make up for the height difference.

Or Trump could help her out.

Priceless
