This is a common misconception, that Hispanic is an ethnic group of skin color.

Hispanic is anyone with Spanish descent. My mother was a Spaniard, and she would get mad whenever I would mark nonhispanic on forms. My mother was pale.

If the Facebook linked above was correct, that man is part Spanish.

Spain does have a history of mixing with Arab populations. Islam was once the religion there.

In the photos, which are admittedly blurry, his right forearm seems "off", like it has been injured just below the elbow.

It looks like a chunk is missing, or it was burned, but I'm guessing that it is just because of the poor quality of the stills from the video survellience footage.

My first thought also!

He kinda looks, uhhhh...Middle Eastern...to me! Look at the dark heavy eyebrows and thick hair, not characteristic of Hispanic descent.

that kid looks like he could be anything from white, to north african, to middle eastern, to south european to hispanic etc etc basically any heritage that has darker complexion and hair. so i guess that should boil it down.....

For days on end now, all over the MSM we see reporting on a cop shooting a citizen. The Charlotte police releasing a statement gets more coverage than actually shooting five people.

As to his ethnicity, I don't see how one could determine clearly that he is hispanic in the released images.

I had a couple of Latino kids in my room who looked a bit like this. Same build, same facial shape and coloration.

One of the reasons the southern border is such a security risk is because those of ME descent can mix in with Latinos fairly easily. They are not too dissimilar in appearance depending on what populations you are talking about.

He could be of pretty much any background. We don't know yet. Could be Hispanic, could be middle eastern, could be Asian, could even be a white guy.
