If the movement encompassed everyone, I think it would make a much bigger difference than segregating out a race, which only leads to further divide the group looking to make a stance.

I absolutely would not want a firearm in my hand without being properly trained to use it and use it well. Compounded with self-defense classes where you get used to the adrenaline of having an off-guard situation crop up in a controlled environment. My father was LEO (RIP) and I have a very healthy respect for weapons.

That being said, I am in Milwaukee and just yesterday, one person was shot and killed and another wounded at, oh, about this time yesterday just one block away from where I live. So I am seriously considering availing myself of the training necessary to get CCP.
