It's more propaganda - some assumptions made with no evidence of any wrong-doing spun into a story.

Documented repeated pattern of doing the same/similar thing.

What's that quote? "Fool me once, . . . "

Except there is no proof of wrong doing in any instance, so the 'pattern' is one woven in some people's imaginations.

The title of the OP is like the HuffPo. ALL flash and no content. I honestly cannot believe this is still going because in the end it will mean nothing.

Trump Refused to Pay Winner of 1M Golf Contest Prize - incorrect. The host of the contest. Trump was sued.

Used Charity Money to Settle - He did not settle anything. He agreed to contribute money and then donate money.

Where did Trump come out ahead and what was shady? Nothing. Do you all REALLY think that if there was an issue the Obama controlled IRS would not have 'leaked' his returns as well as opened new investigations?

So because you don't understand it, it must be illegal?

If accusations are fact, so is the title of this thread.

Lack of full disclosure/rules for hole-in-one creates a fraudulent situation.

Trump assumed responsibility when he wrote the check from his foundation.

Self dealing is illegal.

So, therefore we may get some facts, which will move this from nothing to something.
Until then it remains nothing.

IRS & NY Attorney General don't waste their time investigating nothing.

They investigate to determine wrong doing - or not.
As it stands, no facts have been presented that lead to any conclusion of wrong doing.

If accusations are fact, so is the title of this thread. - Trump refused nothing. It was those putting on the event who were renting the facilities.

Lack of full disclosure/rules for hole-in-one creates a fraudulent situation. - I have played in many many gold tournaments over the years and to be honest I have seen the same thing twice. Once was a car and one was a 'free' gas for a year prize. There are most times on a 'real' course three tees. Front(womens/child) MIddle and Back (pro). They can have more must a decent course will have 3. In both cases I saw they shot from the front tees. No dice. No win. Once was a Bardmoor in the 90's and the other at the Biltmore in the late 80's. No fraud. Like Willy Wonka said you did not play by the rules....

Trump assumed responsibility when he wrote the check from his foundation. - Assumed? No, he agreed to settle situation and donated 100k. Is there something wrong with donating thing?

Self dealing is illegal - What did he gain in this transaction except bad publicity and a 100k loss?

Where did I convict Trump? On the other hand you an others claim exoneration without proof.

FACT: Trump wrote a check from his foundation.

It is not the first or only time.

Is it self dealing?

Well is it? I'd say, we don't know yet.

No, we don't. And the article doesn't say we know either. The article says (basically) this is what I found.

From the article:

expenditures in which Trump may have violated laws against “self-dealing”

From the beginning I said: "It's about the check". Which it is. Is he self-dealing or isn't he?

You and others keep trying to throw in all kinds of peripheral crap to muddy the waters - - - that's deflection.

So? We're going round in circles. Charities write cheques all the time, including to other charities.

If he didn't write this check (and the several other possible self-dealing situations), there would be nothing to investigate.

I'm not going 'round in circles.

I've stayed firmly planted in the same place. "check ---- self-dealing"

I love how Trump gets the full Rights, and is always innocent until proven innocent.

For most people, even being involved or connected in a scandal a little is bad, none the less, and new one each day with evidence always against you.

I know. You've been in a completely unsupported position the whole way through.
There is no evidence of self-dealing.
