The news is just breaking so not a great amount of detail other than the FBI have released this picture of two men they are searching for in connection with unexploded bomb found in New York on Saturday.

FBI "seeking information" poster says the men "allegedly located a piece of luggage on the sidewalk, removed an improvised explosive device from the luggage, and then left the vicinity leaving the device behind but taking the luggage".
www.bbc.co.uk...

It would seem a terror cell is in operation.

Well thats kinda confusing. They found luggage on sidewalk and removed an ied from it or they installed ied and then removed it leaving it behind? Second thoughts perhaps just sounds strange as it is described..

You would think they would have their addresses in their employee files ..

Rah rah rah just kidding!

Hopefully they catch them and actually get some answers ... I won't hold my breath.

But the news said this morning that the SINGLE guy acted alone and was not part of any larger terror group.
This gets a bit confusing.

I think it says the men had a bag, took the bomb out of the bag, left the bomb and carried the bag away.

Hope they don't have more bombs in the bag!!!

The IED was in the suitcase , they planted the bonb and left with the suitcase which if I'm no mistaken is the the guy in the red shirt's left hand.

Yeah, odd.

It's usually multiple suspects and turns into lone wolf. Now we have the lone wolf turning into multiple suspects.

Hope they're found.

So instead of a "Lone Wolf" we are now dealing with a "Wolf Pack"? Do I got that right?

I find that whole "Lone Wolf" term sooooo Orwellian.

MOSSAD.

Or maybe not.

Are these the guys that 'found' one of the devices? Either way they've been previously seen by the FBI (and i hate to say this based on looks) you'd think they'd have been investigated a little further.

What's the plural of "lone wolf"?

Both "official stories" were released on purpose, just like the story about the cops who shot Keith Scott - muddied waters make it harder for the public to really know the facts. Then if a group or individual reacts based on one of the various different narratives, it makes any reaction at all look like it is irresponsible.

The goal is to have people stop reacting altogether and just to get used to it

I recall this being discussed in some depth at the time, not sure why it's only now considered breaking?

There seemed to be a consensus that two scrotes saw an abandoned suitcase and decided to keep it for themselves, presumably dumping the "junk" contents in or near the dumpster.

The original location of the suitcase, from what has been suggested, would have made it significantly more deadly than the location it actually detonated. Why would a terror cell make a bomb that was deadly and then make it less effective?

There may well be a terror cell, but I'm wondering if these two guys were just scallywags in the wrong place at the wrong time - or right place at the right time, from the point of view of the survivors.

Don't worry; if they can't find these guys, they'll be back to a lone wolf in the next couple of days.

I've also noticed the tendency for reports of multiple gunmen to eventually be replaced by just one guy. The cynic in me says that this is because the other guys got away, and the cops/FBI would rather not admit that.

Same script as everytime...

The suspect was known to the security officials He didn´t leave his passport or a testament on his home computer, but fingerprints and a simcard that hints to him, his family.
Why did the bomb with the fingerprints and the sim card not explode?
Because thieves stole the suitcase but left the bomb...(Or Bugs Bunny maybe deactivated it, would be more credible xD)
And when the suspect is arrested, there have to be other suspects.
Otherwise the fear of the people might fall.

There are so much screenwriters in Hollywood, why don´t the security officials hire one of them?
Or did they find only one, and this one was a specialist for comedy?

What a luck that terrorists nowadays(the ones that get arrested) are that stupid.
Otherwise the "security" officials wouldn´t have caught one yet.
If the so called terrorists wouldn´t use spyPhones, the web, facebook, twitter. If they wouldn´t leave their passports, testaments, fingerprints, video surveillance recordings(and i bet "we" need more surveillance on all people now, because it helped to find a terrorist, allegedly) and tracks where one can leave tracks.
Then they are too stupid to build their bombs, so from ten only one or two explode, and damage a trashcan, for example... (I feel sorry for the injured ones in Chelsea, but sarcasm sometimes helps to explain). Like with those two "train-bombers" in germany in 2006, coicidentally both bombs didn´t explode, the suspects were caught on surveillance tape...

And for sure, a sane terrorist that knows that the whole city is searching for exactly him, would sleep in the public.
Maybe to NOT get caught???
Was he maybe in psychological treatment before and out of pills?
Who wouldn´t hide somewhere to sleep, in this situation? Would or could one even sleep in such a situation?

I bet the "chelsea bomber" was the next idiot of the security officials list of idiots to fool.

If this story was real(against all logic), it again shows that only coincidences, like thieves that steal exactly the suitcase that was deposited with a bomb inside, and leave the bomb with the fingerprints and the sim card of the terrorist, that only coincidences help the "security" officials to catch a terrorist or prevent a terror attack.

And not mass surveillance, data gathering, biometric facial-recognition cameras in the public and all that big brother stuff we all have to deal with in our times now. For sure just to be safe from terrorism...
Only the idiocy of the terror suspects and coincidences.
Many, many, many coincidences, identical coincidendes...

...

Somebody leaves a bag unattended in the street in New York. A New Yorker decides to steal it. I'd hardly call it a coincidence. I would have been more surprised if it wasn't stolen.

It was incredibly naive of the bomber to think that it would be left alone.

"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
