Charlie is a player, and will pander to whatever group he thinks can best serve his own personal agenda. His statements, therefore, need to be take with a grain of salt.

I knew Charlie back in the late 90's, after he lost the race against Bob Graham for US Senate. Charlie was the one who got me involved in local GOP politics, he introduced me to some of the players in the local area, got me into the Republican Exec Committee, and was one of my key supporters that helped me take the mayoral seat on 2000. Charlie was also the one who introduced me to Jeb and GWB. The guy certainly has connections to everyone.

That said, he's a great guy, but he's loyal to no one.

I hope all the Bernie fans remember the way Hillary and the DNC treated them
