Masked Man with Alleged Truck of Explosives at UT Elementary School

This is really a strange story. The guy has to be completely out of his mind.

A former Utah State Eastern basketball coach is accused of entering a Utah elementary school while wearing a mask and what observers said appeared to be flowing green Arabic garb after allegedly declaring himself a radical Islamic jihadist.

Police snipers were at the scene, although students and employees were evacuated and are safe, said KSL. There was also a possible bomb threat at the school. The suspect was then taken into custody.

He told the news media on September 19 that he goes by the name “Muhammad Allah Al-Khidr” and now defines himself as a radical Islamic Jihadist, according to The El Paso Times.

So this guy has a history of making threats to churches and driving onto school playgrounds while wearing Middle Eastern garb. He came to his sons elementary school today threatening that he has a truck filled with explosives and demanded all the children be evacuated.

Now this is where it gets strange. He has been claiming to be an 'Islamic jihadist' for a couple years.

However, just a few hours ago he wrote extremist Christian views on his blog!

So far there has been no word on whether explosives were indeed there. Nonetheless, this is a very intriguing story. Islamic jihadist or Christian extremist? It would be easy to attach the 'false flag' label also. Or maybe the guy is just bat snip crazy.

There are no sleeper cells only loonies who want to become something bigger than themselves. Just as we have fake crip and blood gangs that pop up in cities you have fake jihadist. Clearly they both can be just as lethal but not the original issue.

It's silly to think that sleeper cells are standing by because even the smallest terrorist attack can be paralyzing. They would have attacked already given the weekly and sometimes daily drone strikes we inflict on the middle east.

You give them way too much credit. I think you will simply see more people already living in the USA become more radicalized versus someone conning over and immediately blow something up.

Somebody spewing that kind of nonsense is neither a Christian nor Muslim. Clearly he’s Jewish, whatever that even is nowadays.

Do you think the people that blow themselves and others up for allah call themselves "radical islamic jihadists" Maybe they do.

This guy is nut, pure and simple. His blog post is peppered with Bible verses, but no Koran verses, and at the end claims a bible verse says to convert to true Islam. It looks like the rambling of a raving nut who can't even stay within the same religion correctly.

Dangerous? Yes, in the way that delusional psychotics with bizarre nonsensical religious revelations/conversions are, especially when making threats around schools. But hardly the work of ISIS or other terrorists. Sleeper cells don't dress up in mid-eastern clothes and let everyone know their plans. They blend in, then strike without warning.
