- Forgotten Poems -

Far away and long ago
days on end before we knew,
What would happen then, and whence..
lost went our prized debuts...

Written meticulously and with measure
until the hand of hidden gesture
Took them all and stored them safely
far away from us did sever...

To a secret hidden room
filled with sad and long lost treasures,
Will they not be seen again?
timely writings lost forever...

Now they lay dank and barren, with
trees that grow amongst broken flowers,
Memories that we held so dear,
are now just books our once great bower...

If you listen you can hear
the pages of the books quite clear,
Singing songs of sacrifice, love and great insight,
if only to, our own ears...
