Haven't seen a post on this yet. Holy crap look at this sink hole in Florida! They are stating the water pouring into the aquifer is radioactive because of a local power plant. Wonder if the power plant is to blame for the sinkhole? Either way, scary stuff!

I heard about this from the hubby earlier today! Apparently, they were covering it up for three weeks. One article he located was from overseas. Ah, the trust......

We need an Oblivion(movie) scene now. Suck the ocean dry and remove the radiation. All thanks to nuclear power.

What is scary is that they have been hiding and burying this radioactive waste in so many places for so many years and getting away with it until, something like this pops up or an Erin Brogdavich conspiracy begins showing up in the water tables. Our government EPA agency or the Nuclear Commission has not done anything to protect us, the environment or the natural wildlife and marine life from the onslaught.

Sink holes like this are just a very small tip of the iceberg that awaits future generations to come.

Our Republican candidate wants to reduce the ability and funding for the EPA (if not do away with it entirely) but there is a backlog resulting from many decades of no regulation.

No. Mother Earth tears are turning into a radioactive wasteland. US refuse to change from nuclear power. It is not going to look like the movies or video games. Why do people insist to believe we can still be alive with a radio active planet?

Maybe because to some extent we live in a radioactive environment every single day?
