What exactly is 'Anti-Free Press'

It sounds like an easy question, 'what is anti-free press', but is it?

When Hillary starts off by saying, 'bombing in Mew York'. The first question asked to her, is regarding Trump using the word 'bomb' is that providing the American people with a free press? When there was not a follow up question of, 'ummmmm, didn't you just call it a bombing?'. Then CNN edits out her calling it a bombing. Is this really free press?

When the higher ups in media are in bed with the politicians, then hire 'competent' 'journalist' to follow and ask questions, do we really have a free press or just the illusion of one?
