Maybe as the FBI is investigating the Trump Foundation, they might want to take a peak at the Clinton Foundation "charity" too.

The Clinton Foundation spent a hair under $91.3 million in 2014, the organization’s IRS filings show. But less than $5.2 million of that went to charitable grants.

That number pales in comparison to the $34.8 million the foundation spent on salaries, compensation and employee benefits.

I haven't read the DailyCaller article yet but I remember seeing the headline. There's a thread about it from yesterday.

Like most charities, most of the income goes to salaries and other business expenditure. And salaries and other business expenditure is open to Fraud.

From the earlier thread:

The percent, which is usually given as 6% originated with a misleading claim by Carly Fiorina. The Clinton Foundation spends about 83% on programs it runs and gives 6% to other entities. Their operating costs are 10-12%.

The financials are posted there.

So yeah. It's a lie.

If you examine the wording about the projects of the Clinton Foundation, you will be surprised to see that they really don't DO much actual charitable giving at all.

Most of what they do is in-house and consulting and teaching, and "training"....in other words a lot of talk (which is what they do best) and no action. Their website makes it sound like they do so much, but look at the way it is worded.

Look at these words on their website:

We convene businesses, governments, NGOs, and individuals to improve global health and wellness, increase opportunity for girls and women, reduce childhood obesity, create economic opportunity and growth, and help communities address the effects of climate change.

In cases where we support others in their own philanthropic endeavors, the money is used to convene these partners to develop their programs and commitments, rather than directly implement projects.

They get together and talk about what needs to be done and suggest ways to do it.

There is a lot of talk now that the foundation has been used as one big global slush fund. It needs to be investigated all the way back to its inception.

That's not to say it hasn't done some good things. That has to be in the mix to some extent to keep the machine going.

Many charities are just a scam as the percentage required to be classified as a charity is ridiculous... always dig into the percentages given to charities before donating. The two I donate too are Newman's Own when buying a product like salad dressing and Saint Judes both of those use 100% to what they say they do and do not operate for profit. There may be more but I don't know which ones...

Here's 50 of the worst only going at the lowest possible percentage allowed by law as a profit tool so it's not just The Clinton Foundation:
