I'm late to the party too but I got my first real job beyond babysitting, domestic work and housesitting at 19 and then worked the next 20 years or so mired in the pink collar ghetto. These were some of my job titles:

Girl Friday
Office clerk
Bookkeeper
Receptionist
Secretary
Executive Secretary
Administrative Assistant
Sales Audit Manager
General Office Staff
Office Manager
Accounts Payable Manager
Motorcycle sales & parts department associate
Secretary/Receptionist

I was hired for that last job in 1991 at a small IT firm doing custom programming and end user support where it was discovered I had a certain knack for computers. I expanded this into heading my own department doing hardware and networking for their small business customers. I learned on the job as I went. I was also the project coordinator for a small game development company on the side.

In 1995, I struck out as an independent to start my own company providing general IT services and sales, network design and administration along with desktop and operating systems support. Twenty-one years later and I'm still doing the same thing.

I noticed you used a picture of Menard correctional facility in the video, are you from Illinois?

Not from Illinois, KCMO area, actually. The IWW people who asked me to do the song sent me some links to research the issue; Menard was one place where an inmate protest happened recently, don't remember exactly for what. Some of the protests are against the use of solitary confinement, not just for the prison labor issue.

Ah so you ARE a cop, and one on the take too, probably working in collusion with the illuminati, given the pricey car.

I refuse to play along any more.

In the electronics industry for the last 15 years. Automotive industry before that.

I was a tech at a dealership for 8 years after my first divorce, then switched to my favorite thing....electronics. Currently I am the lead tech at a major printer manufacturer's only factory service center. I specialize in color laser printers, that's why they like me.

I've done everything from board level repairs to owning my own computer repair shop for a couple years. For some reason, I'm good with my hands. (take that as you will.....lol)

I've done everything I've wanted to in this occupation though. I need a change.

I'm thinking of going into the park service. Yep, nature baby.

No I actually customize cars for people on both sides of the fence, lol. If you check out my Facebook page you'll see I work on customizing stuff for everyone, it's not my job to judge anyone, it's my job to customize and collect payment. Lol, and I wish I were part of the illuminati, I would so rat them out here purely for the ATS fame. Lol.

Just to be clear, I've never been to Menard, it's just that I live in Illinois, and I've heard stories that this is where they hold John Gotti. Lol

I would love to hover uber sharp tweezers millimeters from your eyeball.... Then apply the most absurdly long (perhaps glittery) lashes you have ever seen! That way you can get glitter all over the guests' faces (and they'll never be able to explain it away to their wives!)

The champagne room would never be the same.

I am, by trade, a funeral director. I've been taking a much needed break from funeral service to spend more time with my wife and boys. Have spent the past two years being entrenched in the whole "Made in Michigan" movement. I currently am self employed and make pendant lights and hanging candles from upcycled bottles, which we sell in retail locations scattered across our state. Sure is a massive loss of income making the switch, but that's not really what its about or I'd have just stayed the course. Can't put a price on spending time with family & we won't get these years back.

A little late getting here...

I spent 17 years publishing and editing my own community newspaper and now I'm reporter, social media marketer and salesman for drydenwire.com. Also, my wire and I run a food concession stand during the summer months at fairs and festivals focusing on fresh-squeezed lemonade!

I am an AZ Certified Emergency Medical Technician and have been since 2012. Most recently I have been working for a local mental health and substance abuse facility but I am in the process of getting a job with AMR, the ambulance company here now.

Since I became certified I have worked with National Youth Sports treating kids tackle football injuries. The ages range from 6-16 and I have played a part in treating broken arms, legs, collar bones, I've had 2 confirmed spinal injuries and a broken femur as well.

Emergency medicine is truly rewarding and when the SHTF I will have medical training as well as supplies.
