Firstly, thank you for reading and for the feedback!

Secondly, - DON'T DELETE YOURS!! I would feel terrible if that was the inspiration you gathered from my story!!!
I welcome and appreciate everyone's creativity here, and yours will be no exception.

Thank you,

AB (If you can flag soon, don't forget to come back! lol!)

Alright, that story sucked me in. Nicely written, very visual.

Such vivid imagery that I almost smelled the salty air and felt the sand between my toes. Sounds so much like Sable Island...
Your stories all always amazing.

Thank you!

I worked hard to try and pull in sensory imagery and I'm so glad to hear that it pulled you in!

Most appreciated.

Hope you'll see this comment.

By far and away my very favorite short-story you've written.

If you'd like, I have some story lines to give you. I could write from them but.........I'm nowhere as good as you are in parsing the words. Let me know if you want one of them. My story lines tend to run to the bizarre and strange with a need for gritty details to bring them to life. I'm too old for the task at this point in my life.

Thank you, Tony! I so appreciate you taking the time to read it (and all the others!).

It is great to have your feedback and support. This story is one of my favorites, too, and I really felt the story as I wrote it - the sensory experience as well as the emotional. I am glad some of it was conveyed in the telling!
