By that rationale the law would never change or be adapted to suit changes in society. All laws and policy changes are open to abuse, including those laid out by your founding fathers. No one is asking you to accept that it is right, just to acknowledge that it happens and will continue to happen. Complaining about it is all well and good, but you still need the system to function in the mean time.

Again, back to the subject matter at hand, who do you think should be providing security services?

That doesn't follow at all. Yes, there will always be corruption, and 999 times out of 1,000, the laws/rules have to be violated in order to do so. So rational and reasonable minds weigh the good with the bad, taking reasonable precautions for reasonable risks... including deciding that doing nothing is better than doing something.


Again, back to the subject matter at hand, who do you think should be providing security services?


For government services/purposes, it should be government employees, subject to transparency and answerable to the people.
