So 2 days after call me Dave decides that being a backbench M.P isn't for him, a scathing report into the U.K's contribution in bringing down the Gaddafi regime in Libya has been released.

MPs say the former prime minister's intervention helped fuel instability and enabled increased terrorism across the Middle East.

A highly critical report, published by the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, accuses the government at the time of having "an incomplete understanding of the country and the situation" and blames it for helping create the messy state Libya finds itself in today.

There we are, Dave had his Tony Blair moment and has now decided that he would like to follow in his footsteps in order to boost his riches, through after dinner talks and being asked to join the board of many organisations that he undoubtedly had links with whilst P.M.

Of course he can now go into hiding of sorts and does not need to answer any of the questions or conclusions that have come out of the report.

He must have known this was coming and decided to get out of Dodge.

What a slimy, self promoting posh boy.

Wow!
You mean Blair and Cameron are peas from the same pod?
And we thought it made a difference who we voted for...
They are all as bad as each other.

Its no great surprise.

It's a shame these reports always come after these scumbags have resigned

5 years it took just waiting for him to leave to then say how awful he was ?

How about we say how awful they are while they're in power ?

This is also included in the report.

The investigation concludes the UK has "a particular responsibility in relation to migrants and refugees" because of its role in the conflict. In its opinion, the migrant crisis "has been exacerbated by the collapse of the Libyan state" and the UK should share the blame.

But we were sold Gaddafi needed to be removed in order to stabilise the region, but they would say that wouldn't they?
