It's Roald Dahl's 100th birthday today.

Hi fellow ATSers, today is Roald Dahl's 100th Birthday.

What an impact this Man had on my formative years. Charlie and the chocolate factory, the fantastic Mr Fox, the BFG, Danny the champion of the world.

The Man introduced me to reading proper books. I haven't looked back since to be fair!!

Spent many an evening reading his books as a youngster. Started with Charlie & the Chocolate factory followed by Charlie & The Glass Elevator which led me to seek out other books by him.

Fantastic mr. Fox was a favourite of mine.

Expect a massive rant from me!!!!!! My wife is ALWAYS going on about this subject like "if my mother were alive today she would be 90". NO, NO, NO, NO, Roald Dahl was 74 when he died he will not get a year older, he is not 100 today and never will be.
