Deus-ex-Machine computer gonna save the world?

If a human being can arbitrarily choose which rules to follow and deprogram itself it's not a stretch to assume an AI that's surpassed our intelligence will be able to do the same..probably with much less difficulty.

FYI: true infinite random source has Shannon Entropy = H = 1 bits per bit = 8 bits per byte, means on average going to infinity exactly 8 random bits per byte. this cannot be faked

Any finite sequence is but an arbitrary pattern from a finite set, it can be replayed again and again. Simple addition will generate all possible combinations of numbers of any finite length.

The fact that the past does not change, as far as we know is further evidence against true randomness, the events are fixed in time and cannot change.

Also randomness does not allow for free will. Free will either emerges from a primordial universal consciousness being the cause of determinism or there being nondivisible agents.

That is the arrow of time, increasing entropy of whole expanding big bang universe, there is a theory that if expanding stops and universe starts shrinking again (big crunch) entropy will decrease, and we go back in time, like a movie on reverse, see we cannot change the past, we would need to do a universal entropy reset (entropy is the measure of disorder, every system tends to increase disorder, see laws of Thermodynamics) and do the whole thing again
